Any idea if a 392 suspension would also work for a 2 door? Or think those would be too stiff?
I have the Fox 392 shocks on my JLR. They're a little stiff on smaller bumps when cold, but it definitely rides better than standard Rubicon shocks... even with an inch less bump travel (with Metalcloak DuroSpring bump stops).

For springs, the weight shouldn't have too much effect but the ride height will be pretty high. In my opinion it would be better to just get 3.6 XR springs if you're trying to hit XR ride height.

Do you have a part # for the Fox 392 shocks? Sounds like an interesting alternative.
Front: 68481296AB
Rear: 68481297AB

Search around and you might find them used. I got mine as 800 mile take-offs for $350.

Keep in mind 392 & XR shocks have a longer compressed length and need the extra 1" of bump stop.

On closer inspection, looks like you went with Fox 2.0 shocks? How do you like them?

Love that you used the stock wheels. Did you add wheel spacers, and if so, what size? Also, what about the spare and use of tire relocator?

I did not use wheel spacers. Just put the KOA 35's on the stock Rubi wheels. For the spare, I have not purchased or installed any type of tailgate reinforcement and/or relocation kit either. So, just 35's and a Mopar 2-inch lift.

I'm not sure yet tbh. I'm on day 2 of driving it and since it's my first Jeep I might not be able to notice for awhile. Seems definitely far more stiffer of a ride but it floats quite a bit more straight-line, surprisingly more stable than my Rubi suspension when cornering and I don't know why.

Well this is interesting.
21 Rubi hard too with steel front bumper and winch, steel sliders, aluminum rear bumper and full aluminum skids with a few steel ones mixed in. 2.5” MC GC on 315s. Couple thousand miles and off road trips on the suspension so springs have settled.

Im at 43” to bottom of front fender and 42-1/4” in the rear.

I like the Xtreme Recon package so I kind of made my own, mopar lift, 35” nitto tires, AEV pintler wheels and the flare extensions. Also have the teraflex tail gate reinforcement with the alpha tire mount, and a metalcloak front bumper with vr8000s winch , metalcloak track bars and control arms. I’m very happy with the ride and handling, also lost the rear sag , leveled it out a bit, mileage is pretty much the same.

Do you have any side profile pics to view the lift better?

Thanks! Can almost see it on the first pic . Looks good!
