First one was a disaster. Made the biggest oil mess I have ever made. So, for the second one I bought a valvomax drain plug to install.
But I still had the original plug in there. I thought about it and made a custom funnel out of a large water bottle. So the oil would drain into the bottom of...
Both of those look pretty good. I have a full set of metal fenders that I got a great deal on. Just haven’t mounted them yet because I’m still undecided. Kind of leaning towards the Metal Cloak chop. But my jeep has other priorities right now.
No. And to be clear I was not holding it. Hands off wheel it tracks dead straight whether the wheel is off center or not. In the past it has been off center to one side and I adjust DL to get it centered. No problem. But lately it has been off center one way, then later off the other way...
Winner winner chicken dinner.
Paint mark had not moved but the axle side was a solid 1/4-1/2 turn loose.
Also, while the DL jam nuts were tight, one on the tierod was not. I will go to star washers when I get the PSC upgrade.
Thank you all.
I started this thread and I am still on the fence but leaning towards staying with plastic. There are several great looking metal options out there. But I like the idea of the flexibility of the stock plastics, especially if they are gutted with an aftermarket turn signal. I also like the...
You all might be correct. The paint marks have not moved but that does not mean a bolt or two has not stretched a bit. I'll get under him today and put some wrenches and sockets on bolts and check tightness and torque specs.
Ok this is weird.

My 21 Rubicon had CVs. I broke one on the trail. Jeep covered it under warranty. Now I am running DS Cro Mo shafts with 1410 U-joints. The originals are in my shed for spares. I figure if I keep them I will never need them.
Hi Benny,
What is the part number for my right (passenger) side rear view mirror? I smashed it on the Dusy Erishim.
VIN# 1C4HJXCN8MW789601
Thank you Sir.

Well another option could be one or a couple of the reusable BlueIce things. That way the bag of ice in the center console doesn’t turn into a bag of water.
Well your idea takes it to a whole new level. 👍🏻👍🏻
But be advised, removing and replacing the center console is no joke. I had to swap out a part on mine and it involved several hours of unscrewing and rescrewing and wire routing etc…. Pulling it out to drill a hole or two and install a tube or...
FWIW back in 21 when I ordered my Rubicon, the factory had a planned shut down of two weeks shortly after my order went in. Even with that shut down, I picked up my jeep exactly nine weeks after I ordered it, which is what the dealer predicted when I ordered. I was pretty happy with that.
The...
Oh my goodness I hear this.....
So another, not necessarily better, but another option that I took.
2021 Rubicon with, obviously, the factory D44s on a 2.5" MC GC lift.
First thing I did was set up a FIRM monthly budget for myself and stuck to it. I bought and collected parts only AFTER I...
A/C vents already run through the center console to the rear. When I close off my rear vents the console gets and stays cool with the A/C on.
But it is almost impossible to know if I am lying or not. I mean, you would actually have to close your rear vents and turn your A/C on and go for a...
