as of now, seems V6-Manual, Turbo4-auto. can't color outside the lines
Welp I stand corrected, that ought to be a solid combo though.

With the turbo 4 you can always tune it for more power later lol

You are missing nothing, except the front axle is now also a M210/D44. Most indications are that it will have 4.10 gears as well. A base Sport can go places the average owner would never dare, so you will be more than fine.
Fully agree. A stock, base JL is way more capable than most drivers (esp once the minivan tires are replaced). Jeep loves to sell Rubicons because they are high $$ and high profit. Lots on newbies buy a Rubicon because (1) they think they’re the only Jeeps that work off road (2)the stealership pushes them hard (ā€˜caus of the profit margin) (3) ā€œfriendsā€ tell them that you’ve got to have a Rubicon. Simple fact is a heck of a lot of Rubicons never leave a paved road and more than one driver has no idea what a locker is or how it works?.
I’d be willing to bet money that a fair percentage of Rubicons could be sold without the lockers but with just the switches and there owners would never know the difference-and in fact would be telling Their friends how great their Jeep drives in the snow when the lockers are engaged?. There ARE some folks who need and actually use lockers (these are typically the folks who installed lockers and heavy duty suspension on Jeeps before the Rubicon model existed)

In the real world your Jeep’s more than likely go anywhere you want to take it as delivered-use it and enjoy it?

A van and a boring car
I ordered a manual Willy's last week. I hope it's not a huge delay on delivery. I have a 2018 Rubicon with a manual and I really like it. It's hands down the best stick Jeep I've ever driven and I have driven a lot. I already put my deposit down and the Jeep went into the system so I am committed now.
