I’m mostly surprised at all the people encouraging this dude.
Are you thinking that we should all be sheep and never deviate from what's currently considered "normal"? I'm not a big fan of the idea, but to each their own.

Some of you need to get a grip; you're whining like the OP's JL is scraping the frame with cambered wheels. It looks like it sits about the same height as a stock XJ from 20 years ago. FWIW, here's my old XJ with 18" Magnum R/T wheels.

I'm still a little new to the Jeep mod world, but my understanding is that the only difference is springs/shocks for the Rubicon suspension, right? Since both of those are being replaced here, why would they spec that?

They're either lazy & don't care, or misinformed.

This should exclude diesel, XR, 392, 4xe (basically anything with the tall bump stops).

That was my thinking, thanks for confirmation. Not that I'm planning to do this, but I would assume the 4xe exclusion (and maybe diesel/392) would be due to just the weight, right? XR is the only one with taller bumpstop pads?

I believe everything I listed gets the taller bump stops.

Weight could be an issue, but I suspect these spring rates are much higher than typical JL lift springs.

OP I think you should add rubicon flares so you can cut those springs and go even lower. Then get "Low Altitude" badging made up.

Honestly - I have a lowered truck, and grew up in the 90s.
