Have a 2018 JL Sahara, looking to add a lift and want to use current 18” wheels. Welcome ideas what size lift would work and best and trusted places for installation. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I just had my Jeep dealer install the Mopar 2” lift for $2,000. That’s a very good price for parts and labor.

I am very happy with the results: I netted 3 inches in lift, and the Jeep drives and rides smoothly.

With regards to retaining your OE wheels, your best bet would be 285/75R18 tires, which work out to be 35x11 inches. This way you don’t have to worry about needing wheel spacers or mounting 12.5” wide tires onto 7.5” wide rims.

Here she is last week with the lift, before getting 35” shoes.

mopar lift is good but you'll a adjustable track bar. if your planning to add bumpers, winch, roof top tent, etc then you may want to look into getting HD springs to make up for that weight. I went JKS MFG 2.5" HD springs. came with everything you need depending on the kit. I recommend the j-konnect with LCA's. I am also still running 33" tires since the tires i had on the jeep have only 10K miles on them. No reason to burn 1200 on tires when i have a good set still

Looks sharp. Can you share a pic after the 35’s. Also stupid question but what color is your Jeep? I cannot tell if it is the orange or red.

Thanks! It is Firecracker red.

Here she is with 35” tires. I ended replacing the wheels with a set of 17” Quadratec CJ Retro alloys.
