A +50 on a 10" wheel is probably going to rub on the swaybar endlink and/or the LCA at full lock.

But, bolt it up and try it. It's going to have some poke though.
A +50 is only going to move you in about 1/4" over stock. You could should be able to easily fit a low profile 265 and maybe squeeze a little more if you're lucky.

a +50 10" wheel moves it more inboard an inch and a half and out an inch

Something like this wheel and tire combo would look nice and lower it a bit more.

No, your thinking backspacing not offset. With offset the width of the wheel isn't relevant. ... at least not if a wider tire isn't required. Of course, if you change the tire width half of the difference will go to either side of the new rim.

run some examples here:

Kind of a coincidence reading this thread. My wife & I just made the decision last night to sell her Grand Cherokee as we care for a loved one that can't get in either of our vehicles. Recent stroke victim.
Isn’t a grand cherokee basically on the ground already?

@Tredsdert I figured you of all people would like this idea! I just think a two door slammed and gutted would be a fun little go cart!!!
A two-door slammed and gutted would definitely be fun, but it would still have to have four wheel drive. A Wrangler is not a Wrangler without four-wheel drive. Even then, drifting around corners is way easier with four wheel drive. Mind you not really, you have to put not more power into the pedal to get the tires to spin, but still way easier to control than a rear wheel drive vehicle. Maybe they can factor that into the Wrangler Mini??

I just don’t think unicorns and ducks should be drawn into this.

Dude, that unicorn duck is awesome! lol, I'd rock that silly looking shit all day in the Jeep. Right next to the Orange Mohawk one I have. The other ones I've re-located back to the wild... Too normal.

As for a lowered Jeep... whatever floats your boat, but personally I think it goes against the spirit of the vehicle. Kinda like messing with the slotted grill (angry eyes, etc.) or squatting a truck. Just some things shouldn't be changed... /shrug
