Are you running that with a stock tire carrier?
  2. Favorite Off-Road Photo - Post Yours 🤳

So you're the sting grey next to the real rubicon?
  3. Need to raise up my Diesel Rubicon-UPDATE

I cut off those extended bumps and replaced them with king hydrolic adjustables. With a little fine tuning no more bottoming out.
  4. Recommended Castor Measurement with 3.5" lift?

Stock castor is not an exact science and likely anywhere between about 3 and 6. And yes, 3 will shoot all over at Highway speeds. Because of your lift you will have to compromise. Bring them in 1 or 2 rotations and test it out. Trial and error is your best friend, otherwise known as fine...
  5. I’m Curious What This Is

    Just a dust cap
  6. Can’t keep new(er) Jeep between the lines at higher speeds

Adjustable lower front control arms will allow you to increase the caster and track straight on the highway. Made all the difference in the world on my 21 ecodiesel. I'm running about 8 degrees if I remember, which some will consider high, but for primarily highway driving it works great.
  7. Paint Upper Half of Back Door!? My Mockup

I like the op's mockup and using vinyl. Only thing I would be weary about is what it will look like with top off and doors on, but if that's not a configuration you plan to run, go for it
  8. Happy Fri-YAY!!! Let's see those Front End Selfies!!!

So fresh you can still see my paw prints....
  9. Rock-Trac fulltime TC = Mall-Crawl AWD

Op- not just mall crawlers - every time I see you the front is up in the air, so you might be just fine without 4wd/awd. You might be best suited with just a rear locker or limited slip. Love the pics by the way ... keep them coming!
  10. Removable OEM Steering Wheel Possible?

My father removed the steering wheel once for "security reasons", hid it in the bottom of the shopvac while he and mom went on vacation. Good hiding place.... anyway, my brothers used 2 pair of vicegrips like handlebars.
  11. N1 and N2

I'll bite, what do you mean by n1 and n2?
  12. Whipple Super Charger for Wrangler 392

Looks like fun, do they give any hp and tq graphs and numbers?
  13. New to me 2021 JLUR.. Any advice helps!

Measure your caster to get a baseline. I'm currently running 8* which is great for tracking straight at highway speeds, but your situation may differ. With a stock diesel I sit at about a stock rubicon height. As you lift, you will find yourself in a balancing act between ideal tracking and...
  14. New to me 2021 JLUR.. Any advice helps!

If you ever find yourself wishing it would track straighter on the highway at speed add some Adjustable lower control arms to your list. I would move them to the top of the list depending on mileage and wear of the other components.
  15. I Put 392 Fox Shocks On My Diesel

I've been running these shocks on my sport diesel as well, along with King bumps in the front. They are stiffer than stock and have much better road manners. No complaints here.
  16. If 4.88 ratio is factory with 32” tires, how can 4.88 be perfect for 37” tires ?

@AnnDee4444 - not to derail the thread, but I love these graphs.... could you do one similar to this, but comparing the diesel to the 392, 3.73 gears and stock 33's for both?
  17. Ohio WTB - JL OEM 20" black wheels and tires

I have a set of 18" altitude wheels and tires for sale: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/black-18-altitude-wheels-with-stock-tires.116797/
  18. How much do some of you spend on your jeeps

Is a softer landing a plus if it comes with a higher risk of a roll?
  19. How much do some of you spend on your jeeps

A lot less than some, but still not something I'm willing to add up or put in writing.... ignorance is bliss!
