I’d Rather Talk Jeep’s!
Thanks for everyone’s suggestions and pictures as you all have given me great ideas.

Lots of you seem to use an Aux switch paired with a solenoid. I might go this route, but I’d have to add a Voswitch (as recommended) as all four of my OEM switches are used for lights (I got a lotta lights?).

Just to confirm, that's these parts:
What's the plastic material for on top of the accessory plate? Any idea how much room is between the hood & accessory plate?
The footprint of the Blue Sea Safety Hub 150 would make it hang off the edge of the bracket by about an inch on the edge nearest the battery. It was designed for a different size fuse panel as shown on the 813 website. I used a sheet of 1/4” ABS to make the surface of the bracket bigger. Without the 1/4” thick ABS spacer sheet I would estimate 2.25 to 2.5” between the surface of the accessory plate and the hood liner. I can get more precise measurements and better pictures if you’re interested.

I run a solenoid and a Battery terminal fuse.

Every aux. power wire I install has a fuse in it.

I'd rather my plan to fail than fail to plan.
Nice set up!

I have a fuse located at the battery and a cut off switch for my winch. Do I need to install a solenoid as well?

Thanks

No, the solenoid is just an electric cut-off switch. You can use either a manual switch like in my pic, or a solenoid if you don't want to open the hood and turn a manual switch.
Hope the fuse is a big one - a 12,000 pound winch can pull over 400 amps.

Your 2020 set up is basically what I have now except I have a sperate fuse at the battery. So the solenoid replaced the switch, yeah?

Can you recommend a fuse?

Sorry, I can't recommend one as I don't have a fuse for my winch.
The 200 amp fuse in the last picture is for my Western snow plow.
If I were to fuse my winch, I'd likely get a large fuse similar to what my plow has.

I was going to order a Blue sea system 300 amp fuse, The winch says max pull 300 amp. I think 300 amp fuse should be fine but I would have felt a little more comfortable with a 350 amp fuse, JIC.

Thanks for your help.
