I keep the Jeep garaged in the winter, but I drove once on about 2ā of snow on a paved road and they are seriously slippery in snow. However, I am used to Blizzaks which we use on our winter vehicle.
In the summer I daily drive them. Great road manners in my opinion. Never noticed any slipping...
Geezā¦Iāve never even noticed those red deflectors until I looked just now. š¤¦š¼
Would it be possible to enlarge the hole to make the light fit?
I canāt find the factory GPS cable for the life of me. But now that you mention needing to install a short cable to attach to the factory one, thatās what I am missing. Do you remember, by chance, what color connector the factory GPS is? I have a few different colored factory connectors that...
Geezā¦I just noticed the ānew vehicle stickerā hanging from the glovebox. Were you at the factory with the sound deadening material in hand while you waited for the Jeep to roll off the assembly line to install the material? š
I believe the Boom Mat only has Butyl Rubber and foil (at least thatās all I noticed when cutting it and when it cut me). I went with 4mm thickness. It was $200 for ten strips of 12.5āx24ā material.
What is that material you used? Looks great! Manā¦you guys go all out! š¤£
I have everything installed (except GPS as I canāt find where that wire is and is driving me crazy!) and the blind spot cameras work pretty well. I do wish they activated more quickly when the turn signal is on (thereās a brief delay until the respective camera shows up on the screen).
Like others have saidā¦lighting! Even the garage door openers should have good lighting.
Not only a good, spacious tool chest (or two) and work bench (or two), but lots of cupboards or cabinets to keep things tidy.
I have an epoxy coated floor thatās peeling right where I jack my vehicles up...
Iām curious to see if Iāll notice a difference as I havenāt driven the Jeep since November. Would have been nice to do a dB level before and after.
The one thing Iām most excited for is possibly cooling the area down by my feet. Thereās even a sticker on the floorboard above the transmission...
The audio build on my Wrangler has consumed me. I went and removed the seats and carpet to install Boom Mat 4mm acoustic and thermal mats.
From what I can tell itās solid stuff that should work well. It probably added 20 pounds to the Jeep. Iām hopeful it will cool down where my feet are...
