Geez…I just noticed the “new vehicle sticker” hanging from the glovebox. Were you at the factory with the sound deadening material in hand while you waited for the Jeep to roll off the assembly line to install the material? 😝

I believe the Boom Mat only has Butyl Rubber and foil (at least that’s all I noticed when cutting it and when it cut me). I went with 4mm thickness. It was $200 for ten strips of 12.5”x24” material. What is that material you used? Looks great! Man…you guys go all out! 🤣

I have everything installed (except GPS as I can’t find where that wire is and is driving me crazy!) and the blind spot cameras work pretty well. I do wish they activated more quickly when the turn signal is on (there’s a brief delay until the respective camera shows up on the screen).

I’m not too familiar with either product. Someone suggested Boom Mat on this forum or the car audio forum and I just went with it.

Like others have said…lighting! Even the garage door openers should have good lighting. Not only a good, spacious tool chest (or two) and work bench (or two), but lots of cupboards or cabinets to keep things tidy. I have an epoxy coated floor that’s peeling right where I jack my vehicles up...

I’m curious to see if I’ll notice a difference as I haven’t driven the Jeep since November. Would have been nice to do a dB level before and after. The one thing I’m most excited for is possibly cooling the area down by my feet. There’s even a sticker on the floorboard above the transmission...

The audio build on my Wrangler has consumed me. I went and removed the seats and carpet to install Boom Mat 4mm acoustic and thermal mats. From what I can tell it’s solid stuff that should work well. It probably added 20 pounds to the Jeep. I’m hopeful it will cool down where my feet are...
