I discovered this weekend that the waterproof switch on my Smitybilt winch broke and will not turn on. I checked on their website and you can replace the entire power unit but for a price of over $260. I can get a waterproof switch alone for just $7. I have not taken the unit apart yet. Has anyone had this happen and can just the switch be replaced?
