Broken winch terminal

So I picked up a Barricade 12,000lb winch and i was super stoked to have it all installed and ready to hit the trails. The installation was a breeze, basically no hiccups until the very last bolt... I gave the power terminal a little too much elbow grease and i snapped the terminal in half... any recommendations for a quick fix?

There’s no quick fix outside of removing the winch, opening the motor assembly, extracting the broken bolt and replacing the terminal.

take it back, use a torque wrench.

probably not a removable stud, probably a lug mounted to frame.

Maybe have a reputable local shop that rebuilds and repairs starter motors and alternators take a look at it.

Damaged in shipping is the go to. Apprentice drops an expensive fixture, it was damaged in shipping.

Or…Journeyman drops an expensive fixture and blames the apprentice. Apprentice not wanting to be a snitch or lose his own job says it was damaged in shipping. It’s always the new guys fault.
