Flip's farewell message (RIP: February 1936 - February 2026)

Flip passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 7th. He had just turned 90 years old.

February 1936 - February 2026

He always used to say " I'm going to keep on living right up until the day I die." And that's exactly what he did.

Flip was very fond of this forum. He had a few notes at his nightstand. Please ask the admins to delete his account, farewell everyone........WITNESS ME!

Flip generously left his Jeep to me. He had very good things to say about this forum. I would like to join myself some day.

Rubicon Take Off: Suspension Coil Springs and Shocks, Mopar Extended Lower Control Arms. Teraflex 1/2" Spacers, MetalCloak Bump stops. Netted between 1.25 & 1.5" of lift.

I love the thin tire look, and the Autolynx are amazing. I would opt for those if I didn't have a Swayloc sitting around from my previous build.

I used shocks & springs from a 2 door Rubicon. Actually my shocks are from a 2 door Willys but theyre the same shocks. And a 1/2" terafelx spacer. If you want more lift get coil springs from a 4 door Rubicon.
