" The recommended tire pressures are listed on the sticker on the door jamb. These are also the pressures to which the TPMS is calibrated. "
The plate on the door jam lists 38psi but probably based on tire manufacturers recommendations based on vehicle weight, loading, fuel mileage, wear, etc. Not sure it's optimal from a steering/ handling perspective?

They updated the steering stabilizer, trackbar and steering box. most folks $hitcan the stabilizer for after market like a Falcon and upgrade the track bar to a Steer Smarts.

Both of Mine never had an issue but had the updates done and replaced the stabilizers and track bars

After changing the trackbar, draglink, and tierod with Steersmarts, I drove around without a steering damper for a week or so, including highways. Never had so much as a shimmy.

I have the Steersmarts draglink with the attenuator doohicky in it. That prevented me from installing a Falcon or similar aftermarket damper in the traditional location. So, I modified the Yeti tierod end forging by drilling 2 holes to mount the OEM bracket to attach the OEM damper in the OEM location. It has been great for the past couple years.

After all of the JL Steering update, which should be already on the 2021's, a low percentage of the owners are still having steering issues. The best thing to do when you buy one, or take delivery from a order, is to drive it over bumps and at highway speeds, before one signs the final papers.
Speed is the key.
Dealer drove ours at 40 km per hour. Said no problem....

Said It' a Jeep Thing.

Went to another dealer. Fixed it.

They still have solid front axles and are targeting a wider and wider base all the time. The complaints will continue to roll in.

I have 6973 miles on my 2021 jlu and as of yesterday hitting a bump on the highway at any speed above 67 mph invokes the deadly wobble…we had to turn around from a trip we were on because it got so bad. So no, it’s not resolved in the 2021. It goes to the dealer on Wednesday….

I'm so sorry you've had this happen.

Will it ever end for all of us?

Bad parts?
Bad assembly?
Bad dealer/techs?

Thanks heaven for @JeepCares They helped me so much.

Looking for another JLU. Stomach is in a knot.

I’ve seen a few posts from 2020 regarding known steering issues, any sense that these have been addressed by FCA in the newer models?
Looking at the latest update to the "Steering Feel" TSB, now TSB 08-003-21 REVA, dated 11/20/2021.. I would say nope!

The TSB is only for 2018-2020 JLs and and 2020 JTs..

Folks are saying the issue is resolved in newer vehicles that started shipping with the new steering box.

This TSB adds a replacement for the nut on the pitman shaft as well. Therefore, I would not assume that all of these fixes are in the Jeeps being made since the steering box was changed.

I was comparing parts required from TSB 08 003 021 new TSB number I guess. TSB (Jan 9, 2021) states Gear, steering 685 075 569 AA my invoice from the dealer is 685 075 569 AB. So I guess there is another updated TSB?

So back in the shop Monday. (March 7 2022) Track bar had to be ordered and software will be applied.

Jeep steering has improved significantly with the new steering box.

We still see complaints from time to time but much fewer than before. People have been able to fix these issues with after market parts such as steering stabilizers.

A Jeep is not designed to drive like an Audi or Toyota. If you have never driven one before, rent one for a few days. See it you like it.

I once saw a lady with a brand new Jeep. it still had on the dealer's plates. I asked her how she liked it. She said she was used to driving German cars and the Jeep felt different. She could feel the road when she drove it. She wasn't sure if she was going to keep it.

Just looking at her, it was obvious that she belonged in an Audi or a Benz.
