I just wanted to let everyone know about an issue I had last week and I really couldn’t find much information on it.
2018 JLUR garage kept 73k wife driven miles.
The story goes like this. We went for a late Saturday ride with friends and there was no issue. Then decided to take it for dinner the next day and it started up fine no warning lights at all but also no power steering at all. After researching the web and forums and not seeing much I ordered the $700+ pump. So I started getting ready for the install by removing the air box to aid in the old pump removal. First thing I did was unhook the power supply plug and come to find out the red lock was not engaged and I guess the plug just backed off the connection. In my research I remember people (Wayoflife) talking about going full throttle and loosing steering. I’m assuming this may be the issue. So just check your plug and make sure it’s locked in.
