  1. Hurricane High Output JL Spotted at EJS?

Candidly I wouldn’t be surprised if Stellantis upgraded the electric motor and batteries in the 4xe, making it a bit more powerful and then call it good until the next generation Wrangler is released in a few years. The EPA is rapidly phasing out gasoline motors, a fact that will force...
  2. Which Engine to order for my Sahara 2.0L i4 turbo v 3.6L V6

No need to repeat what others have said. One more positive for the turbo; high altitude performance is superior to the V6. The 2.0l however sounds like crap at cold idle.
  3. Coolant issues

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this continuing problem. Unfortunately in several past experiences Ive had with other vehicles, once a head gasket has been replaced it seems like repeat failures are likely. Not sure why, but I have experienced this several times in the past. If it were mine I...
  4. Stellantis just fired hundreds of engineers [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

It would seem…but despite a pretty significant sales declines we’re not seeing much in the way of discounts yet (from the manufacturer). To your point, they have plenty of room to discount.
  5. Selling price for my JEEP

Some decent mods but dealers will not give you much, if any, value for mods. Another thing….banks and credit unions won’t loan additional amounts for the mods which will further discourage someone from purchasing your Jeep even if they’re willing to pay more because it’s modded. Candidly...
  6. Stellantis just fired hundreds of engineers [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Yes….but wrangler sales are declining and the response to declining sales is usually discounts or subsidized financing…or both. Declining sales+increasing discounts+higher wages=less profits and less money for R&D. Stellantis remains very strong financially…it will be interesting to see how...
  7. Hard top going through auto wash

Car washes are generally much better now than they were 10 years ago. My Jeep has only been hand washed a few times since I purchased it 4 years ago, all other washes have been at automatic washes with “soft” brushes. The only damage on the hardtop is from small tree branches while...
  8. Stellantis just fired hundreds of engineers [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

This^^^. However getting rid of engineers will also have long term impacts on planning and production and ultimately efficiency. The UAW won huge wage concessions but I suspect more than a few of its members will end up unemployed because of the long term impacts their win had on cost...
  9. Hurricane High Output JL Spotted at EJS?

They need to do something to make us excited about the brand. Charging $100,000+ for an old school 392 isn’t doing much for its fanboy base. Hey Stellantis I have an idea for you…stick a medium output inline six into the wrangler for a $3,000 up charge and you might be amazed by the increase...
  10. Can this deal be improved upon?

It’s just an insulting game that I won’t play. Net of the added valueless crap it’s a 10% discount.
  11. Stellantis Agrees to California EV Rules [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS / FIGHTING ⚠️]

This is hilarious. Those with a 4xe have two risk factors for fire….a large lithium ion battery and lots of gasoline to fuel the flames. Great combo! (Candidly the risk of an EV fire is mall compared to an ICE only vehicle…though a battery fire is difficult to extinguish)
  12. Can this deal be improved upon?

I find it hilarious all of the people who think cash gets them a better deal. A qualified borrower will often do better because credit unions, banks, and lending fintech pay car dealers between 2% and 2.5% for the paper (loans) they originate on car sales. Dealers much prefer borrowers.
  13. Stellantis Agrees to California EV Rules [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS / FIGHTING ⚠️]

As an EV driver I can assure you charger availability is way below need. Interstate travel is improving but get on a two lane road…charging options are limited…at best. Just because you see a charger doesn’t mean they work. Also, finding a charger often means traveling out of your way.
  14. Upgrades to a 2024

Absolutely++++ on the Redline struts. I spent $200 on PDR to repair my hood after a wind gust lifted the hood off of the prop and slammed it against the windshield header. Surprised the damage to the hood was not worse.
  15. Totaled or no?

Just let your insurance handle the claim…never fun, but let them handle matters. I am wondering if Amazon has any responsibility for its hired drivers. It would seem they have an obligation to make sure their drivers have insurance.
  16. How do I vacuum Air out of coolant system?

I’m not an expert…try looking up “burping your cooling system”
  17. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

$20,000 discounts on left over new 23s? Please share more…I’ve not seen that.
  18. 2024 Willys/Rubicon mpg (2.0L) ?

You will never get an apple to apples comparison regarding mpg. So many variables: engine, gearing, wind resistance(lift), fuel, altitude, age of vehicle and it’s maintenance, outside temp, SPEED, driving style, traffic, rolling resistance of tires, fuel type (octane, ethanol, winter vs non...
  19. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

And for just about everything else you purchase…
  20. "Jeeps are the most overrated and terrible cars there are"

To the OP - please do not post Tik Tok crap on this board. These low IQ “influencers” are a scourge to the rest of us that have real lives.
