Any tutorial on this?
Here is what I put on Facebook when I made about a year after using the pump and getting tired of going tire to tire. All the components were bought off Amazon. If there is a particular part you are inquiring about I can go through my Amazon history and try and post a link to it.

From my FB post: "Tested the 4-tire inflate system that was made using a little over $100 in parts vs a $200 ready-made unit. Also made an adapter to where the system can use the compressors at the dunes meant to go directly onto the tire valve so if there is little to no line waiting for the compressors we can opt to use those instead of wear and tear on our portable compressor. Anyway…
The test, using the Viair 300p shown here was pretty good. On a 33” tire from 12psi to 36psi took 10 minutes. From hooking up the components, clamping pos and neg to battery terminals, tire inflators, air up time, disconnecting tire inflators and packing the lines and everything up took 16 minutes without rushing.
Fun project."

The green/black adapter connected to the Viair: https://morrflate.com/shop/morrflate-accessories/adapter-kits/

Looking to purchase a portable air compressor. Not really wanting to debate the benefits of an on board system . I prefer a portable . Looking to buy the best quality I can , Any experience with them good, bad is greatly appreciated.
I have had an ARB for years. It is mounted in a case.

I built my own system after watching YouTube videos. I do not have a list of all the parts I purchased from Amazon.

Thanks everyone for the input. Looks like the ARB is a little bit much $ for me. Viair 400 will be my choice. I think the only modification I would make would be to put a quick disconnect on the +,- power leads. like used on battery tenders, and add adapter for cigar lighter , for interior power, many thanks.

I have this one. So far it has worked well. What I don't like about it is:
The size. It is quite large. (Insert "that's what she said" joke here), and
The proprietary fitting on the air hose. If one of the hoses got damaged, then you would have to take it to a hose shop to get a standard fitting.
I've got two of those (had them installed in tandem in my WK2 Grand Cherokee for onboard air), and while they are quite good I have found a better solution for my new Wrangler - the Morrflate 10.6cfm dual compressor. It's not that much more money than a 2781, only slightly bigger, but puts out WAY more air, and most importantly, it has a built-in pressure switch and standard air fittings, neither of which the 2781 have unless you add them yourself for another ~$50 of parts from amazon, at which point you've paid as much as a Morrflate costs anyways.

Are you saying that you want to power the Viair 400P with the cigarette lighter?.. if so.. I looked at the specs for the compressor.. and it could consume up to 30 amps... more than what the cigarette can safely provide... if I am correct the Cigarette lighter is rated for a maximum of 15 Amps

I ditched my Viair after discovering the Milwaukee M18. Inflates my 37’s from 15-28 super fast and one battery can do 4-5 Jeeps. Auto shutoff at a preset psi is spot on accurate. Oh and it’s lightweight. IMO it’s the best option out there in portable inflators.

I have this one and blew a hole in the hose the first time I used it.

My rule of thumb is to get a compressor that connects directly to the battery. Anything that plugs into the lighter is too small and likely to burn out.

IMO, this ^^^ compressor offers the best ratio between portable size, air power and value for money.

However, there are several very similar compressors sold under different names, each with its own set of tweaks and price point.

After burning through several smaller compressors, I got the Smittybilt version shown above. Unfortunately, the air hose comes permanently attached to the compressor and once it breaks, you are SOL. The hose broke right after the 12-month warranty ended, and Smittybilt told me take a hike.

So I replaced it with a nearly identical compressor by Superflow —see below. Unlike the Smittybilt unit, this one has a quick-release detachable fitting right where the Smittybilt hose broke, and a higher quality air hose. I have owned this compressor now for 7+ years without issue.

There are nearly identical compressors sold under other brand names, like Rough Country, Viair, Thor, each with its own tweaks and price points.

My advise would be to focus on this size of compressor and check out which brand fits your choice of tweaks and budget.

Good luck!

Careful, these compressors usually use more power than your cigar lighter is rated.

I have the Morrflate and 4 tire inflate system. They both work great. I have the XR beadlock capable wheels and they require the straight chucks for easy on and off. The compressor works great and is really fast filling 4 tires.
