Been using an All top single and homemade 4 tire setup for years never had a problem with it, can air 35s from 16 to 35 in about 6 minutes

Milwaukee M18 does the job for now as it works with my entire Milwaukee ecosystem. Eventually, I'll install an ARB Brushless Twin compressor.

I have been using the Milwaulkee battery air inflator with a 8.0 battery. I filled all 4 35 inch tires up from 25 to 40 psi in 12 minutes and still had 1/2 battery. I carry the 12 volt battery top off so the battery is always full when needed.
Me too. I just picked up a Milwaukee M18 Inflator and one station charger that will work in the 120v console outlet. Pump, charger and xtra batteries fit nicely into a Harbor Freight bag, and room for other tools. Sure beats having to string hoses and/or wires to all four corners.

After reading the rest of the comments, I see the Milwaulkee M18 is pretty popular. Hope it holds up!

A few years ago I bought the best inflator NAPA had on the shelf, sold by the Slime company. It had twin cylinders and was well over a hundred bucks. Within a year it threw a rod using it very infrequently, and I discovered it was mostly made of pot metal (garbage zinc and other scraps they sweep off the floor to throw into the melt). Yep, Slime lived up to it's name!

@Xploring_Outdoors and @USNvet how long does it take you guys to air up all 4 tires with your Milwaukee M18? Been thinking of getting one as I'm not going offroad as often as I used to, to warrant a system like ARB or Morrflate. I'd want a versatile system that I could fill up 1 tire or all 4 with and things around the house like a toy for the kiddo or something.

NOTE: I am not interested in an Onboard system. I want to be able to take it with me if I change Jeeps.

i searched through past threads and saw a bunch of mentions of ARB twin brushless. What do you recommend and why?
I use this: https://a.co/d/fgy4gV3

but this looks identical too: https://a.co/d/fmL5Emg

Was cheap and still works for 35s after 4 years, even in the heat. Only issue is loud as hell and a bit slow, maybe 25 min for all 4 35s from 11 -> 36 PSI.

I haven’t actually timed it but I would say maybe 10-12 minutes to air up all four of my 37” tires from 10 psi to 25 psi. It’s quick enough that I’m not in a big hurry to upgrade. Also worth mentioning is with a 6.0 amp hour battery I only use one bar or 25% of the capacity.

I know some have negative opinions about RC products and customer service but I pulled the trigger on this one today. I will keep y'all posted.

FYI for anyone using the Milwaukee M18 compressor or any of their M18 tools their Forge batteries are awesome. I have quite a few of their HO batteries and they're good but their Forge batteries are definitely better. They seem to have more power and certainly last noticeably longer. They do cost more but they're worth it. I have a M18 Fuel Hackzall I always take with us and with a 8AH Forge that thing is a beast and I've yet to run it dead yet. They'd be a perfect match for their compressor.

I’ll probably get flamed for this but I’ve been using this for a while and it works great. Fills my 37’s and has filled 37’s and 35’s one after another with no real issue other than getting hot at the valve port. $100 is good for me. Had a buddy with a smaller ARB and he burnt it up using his 35’s in less than a year. Not saying ARB’s are bad (I think they are actually the gold standard) but heck people think this is crap because it’s not name brand and it works great.

It's 6.35cfm, faster than the arb single and nearly 3x as fast as the viar 400P that's way too popular for it's performance in my opinion. Less than half the price and it moves some serious air. They can flame all they want when they overpaid for an underperforming compressor. My smitybuilt was only $100 and moves 5.6cfm. 15 years later it's still going strong.

Any of those dual compressors from Napa, Thor's lightning, (That green one), Are all made by the same manufacturer in China.

I purchased it straight from the manufacturer myself and saved about a hundred bucks, but you can buy it from any of those guys too. 🤷‍♂️

Here's a link to the manufacturer of this dual compressor

You're going to have to chat with them and tell them that you want to buy a single sample piece, and make sure you are clear that you want the digital gauge on it. It's automatic and in my experiences it's pretty damn accurate. It'll turn on and off like 2 or 3 times while it checks the PSI before it keeps airing up. But you can do all four tires with this thing in less than 5 minutes.

I don't know what shipping's going to be at this point and with the tariffs it might actually cost you more. For me it came out to about $160, and took two and a half months to get to me. But That was better than the $260 that Thor's Lightning was trying to charge for the exact same thing.

Dang, wish I new that a couple months ago. I got a clone from Amazon for about $100 more: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DS1QZCBR

Seems to work well. I've used it a couple of times and the only hiccup so far was I think I got an overheat warning on the 4th tire after airing up three 35's from 18psi to 36psi. It displayed a code and I let it sit for a few minutes and tried again, and it was fine. The next time, I aired up from ~22 to 36 on all 4 and it didn't overheat.

My backup compressor is a portable 5.6 cfm I got from this Toyota forum owner (they ran a business for aftermarket Toyota suspension stuff) and it has been solid. I use my ARB twin (it is slightly faster) but on solo trips, I'll take that as my backup. If that ever craps out, I'll get a portable basic Morrflate as a backup and tie it down in the back somehow.

I run 37s on interlock wheels, air down to 10 PSI and it gets hot airing up back to 28 PSI, but maybe because it's straight from the manufacturer in China, it doesn't have that safety feature?

Usually I let it sit for like 5 minutes after I finished the last tire before I put it in the bag. I'm always fearful I'm going to melt the bag.

At least one of the high output (10+ CFM) compressor purveyors specifically warns against inflating one tire at a time (essentially due to potential for heat-related damage). It sounds like they're building in protection circuits now (for some of the ones with PSI-based auto-shutoff brains, anyway), which is pretty slick.

I have the Morreflate 10:6 pro and kit. It is great. I also have a pair of Powertanks that are alot faster.
