Some will say anything less than 100% duty cycle should be avoided. I respectfully disagree (based on your intended use). I use an ARB high output single primarily to support one air locker. Of course I also use it to re-inflate my tires. I recently aired up all four (34") tires from 15 to 35psi in about 9 minutes (and that was at 6500' elevation). Even if you double that time for larger tires, you're still under the 30 minute published (50%) duty cycle of the ARB single.
I've got a 2dr, so space is a concern, but yes, a twin will be faster. ?

I prefer the PowerTank. I had an ARB Twin in my 4Runner but they can be prone to an early death not to mention the challenge of install locations.

PowerTank is by far the fastest, ultra portable, and mounts nicely in the back:

Speedflate also makes a similar quad-hose system (https://www.speedflate.com). A few more options, so that's what I went with, personally.

If you're not up for the cost of onboard air, I have a VIAIR 440p that works perfectly. I'm only using it on 33s but it should handle 35s or 37s pretty easily to get you started.
I have the same 440P and 37s. It works. I recently made up a 2 tire hose system which has shortened the time a bit. I wanted a portable, because I wanted to be able to move it to my pickup when I road trip it without the Jeep.

No doubt PowerTank is the fastest and most reliable.

I went cheap and simple. I have 37s. I bought two harbor freight air compressors with coupons and run both at the same time. Ive filled up quicker than arb guys some times lol.

I just got the Speedflate (which works great) and connect to my ARB twin that is in my engine bay.

If I were to do it all over again I'd probably mount it under the passenger seat instead and use the Kraken system or the Speedflate.

When everything works correctly I can air up my 37s from 15-32 psi in 6 minutes. When things aren't working it takes forever and fuses start blowing. ?‍♀

I highly recommend NSV’s tailgate mounted air compressor system. I had one in 2 different JKs for 5 years with no problems. I had a control panel get damaged. Instead of charging me for it, they sent me a complete second system. When I traded for my JL, I let the one go and converted the second system to my JL. The company even replaced the bad control panel for free. I just had to pay shipping. They are out of California. They make a unit for the JL for $1000 and the one for the JK is $700. I swear by it. The compressor mounts behind the spare tire carrier.

Perfect response. The only 100% duty cycle compressor is the ARB Dual Compressor. That said, PowerTank is just so awesome! Can’t go wrong with either.

I would never recommend a single compressor, or any double compressor that isn’t 100% duty cycle.
Thank you!

Would love to see how you have them set up.

no. That one wont work. It needs to connect to the battery itself. These are the ones. You can get them 20-25% off when they have their special coupons. Takes me 7-10 minutes to air up all four tires.

https://www.harborfreight.com/12v-150-psi-compact-air-compressor-63184.html

I know theres also $150 air compressor thats supposed to work well. It all depends on your budget. I also like portability so i can take it with other vehicles.

I went with the ARB twin along with the Kraken mount under the passenger seat. I can air all four tires up at the same time in about 7 to 8 minutes. I have about 800 in both but I can air up anytime I want with the touch of a button.
I have done the same. I like having the Kraken/ARB under the pax seat so it isn't taking any room and it is always there. If you need portability though it won't work for you. I don't mind the noise because I am outside anyways chatting with others airing up or having a snack.

It's great because you hook up all four and can walk away. Once you turn it off the tire pressures self-equilibrate.
