Because it's green?

😁😁 I mean it doesn't hurt that it is. My tanks are green too.

I like the compressor because I can set the pressure and do other things while it is inflating the tires.

@Xploring_Outdoors and @USNvet how long does it take you guys to air up all 4 tires with your Milwaukee M18? Been thinking of getting one as I'm not going offroad as often as I used to, to warrant a system like ARB or Morrflate. I'd want a versatile system that I could fill up 1 tire or all 4 with and things around the house like a toy for the kiddo or something.
Just got mine after Christmas and have yet to try it. In searching the internet, I'm guessing about 3 minutes per 33" tire say from 18psi to 38psi, and longer for larger tires. I did add a quick attach/detach nozzle to save screwing it on and off, and risking cross threading it.

This guy does an inflation demo of a smallish truck tire, and it took 3 1/2 minutes to go from zero to 45psi. The whole review is worth a watch, but skip to the 13 minute mark to just watch the timed inflation:

I added the Apex Design quick connect chuck to mine as well. Definitely worth it!

M18 is good for emergency, top off, or a once or twice air up trip. Versus my Vlair, the M18 takes longer, can get pretty hot in summer, and requires minimum of two 5Ah batteries, preferably two of their largest ones that fit. With the batteries and charger, it’s the same weight and size as the Vlair. Can’t charge the batteries if they’re below freezing, too. Definitely needs a quick connect like the SKOG chuck mates because the factory screw-in tip can be frustrating to get threaded right sometimes. Lastly, the auto shutoff almost always overinflates by a few PSI, so it always requires attaching a separate gauge to do final adjustment.

All that said, I’m happy with my M18. I just wouldn’t take it as my primary air system if I were on a trip with lots of airing up and down.

The dual piston air compressors work great with an off-brand 4 tire hose kit. I have been using Thor's Lightning for 2 years now with no issues.

Yes, it does get hot after airing up but so do all compressors. When it's done, I put it on the floor of my back seat or the trunk- on the all weather mats. Have never had an issue and it's not a PITA at all.

I'm also a big fan of the 4 tire hose setup. I use them to delfate and inflate and I am done much faster than anyone else in our group. It's great when it's raining (or snowing) as I sit in my Jeep and can start and stop it while the rest of the crew is couched down next to each tire.

Yes, they are from the same china factory, but here is a YouTube video detailing the differences between some of the most popular ones. Spoiler alert- Morrflate has better heat management.

Highly recommended.
