    I have always had a good experience at dealers. Maybe it's because I was in the automotive business for 37 years. During a vehicle purchase, the customer is in control. If the process is not going your way, find another dealer.

    I do not think it is totalled since it looks like it can be repaired. But sometimes insurance companies total a vehicle if the repair cost is within a certain percentage of the vehicles value.
