No spacer, and yeah just a cheesy hex head there still, I've been meaning to swing by MC to pick up a proper bolt and washer but haven't gotten around to it yet. I think I used the hex head because I added that mounting hole myself, if I remember right
4xe does some stuff differently than the others. For instance I have the 4-auto transfer case mode while a lot of other rubis don't.
I think they added OR+ to the 4xe Rubis starting in 2024 though
I can't speak to the Artec belly pan, but I am using the Metalcloak full skid system with LOD Signature rails, which has the same conflict with both products wanting to use the same frame mounting holes.
The trick, for me, was to install the rails first, and then the skids. So the rails' frame...
That's pretty much exactly what I did, ha! We turned around pretty early on and just headed back. Fortunately the mud was shallow so I didn't really tear up the road.
Tires were at 30psi, probably I should have aired down but honestly that didn't even cross my mind for some reason, I guess I...
Last weekend I found myself driving on a packed clay road in the rain, and it was the most slippery surface I've ever driven on in my life. The rain had turned the clay into pretty much KY Jelly. Like, even at 1mph I could barely steer, the Jeep just went wherever it wanted. Rear was sliding...
Interesting, that is helpful, thanks!
I didn't cut the blue wire but I wonder if it's broken maybe. I'll try running the camera straight into the monitor and see what happens, I guess it might be possible I just got a bad camera too.
I think the settings on the monitor are ok since I can see...
It looks like I might need your help this time with troubleshooting, @RubiDukkie
I got my new PHD5N1 camera and connected it up (just unplugged the old camera, plugged in the new one), turned the Jeep on and I just get static. If I unplug it I get the blue "no signal" screen, but plug it back...
Best I can tell, I guess that would be Honda Racing (HRC), which I guess is what does the Type-R, NSX, and TLX.

When I had my Grand Cherokee, everyone on the GC forums was complaining about the same thing, but I never had that issue. But now with my JL Wrangler, I have this issue constantly. It never fills the tank, at any gas station, without stopping itself 10x first. Also I have never, ever gotten my...
No internet, eh?
I skipped to the last minute or so and appears to be summarized as:
Recovery loads are usually 30-80% of vehicle weight in the vast majority of cases. Sometimes up to 120%. In very rare occasions, maybe up to 200%. If the load is any higher than 200% then, regardless of how...
Where did you end up mounting the rear view camera? I put mine on the backside of the FAD skid plate on the front axle, which has so far worked out pretty well because it's pretty much the lowest place to put it, and relatively well protected from rocks.
No modification needed. The power tap has a screwdown terminal at the end, so you just plug the DVR and monitor power wires into it and screw them down:
I agree. I had never been in a Jeep on the highway with no doors before until last summer, and at first it felt very, very weird and unsafe. But after a day or two it felt normal, and I could just enjoy the fresh air. Then after the doors went back on, it felt weird and claustrophobic :LOL...
