I have a 10A Rubicon in Anvil. Itās always been my favorite Jeep color. If the Ecodiesel was available in the 24ās Iād trade my ā22 in tomorrow.
Disconnect the aux battery, plenty of threads here on how to do it. Simple 5 minute job. After that a jump should get you going. Replace the main battery with a quality brand AGM immediately and youāll be up and running, better than new.
Just got it back yesterday actually, took nearly 3 weeks. Yes it was covered under warranty. When they went to remove the belt the tensioner broke so that was another week long wait for the part to come in. I'm going to delete the aux battery and replace the main battery with a DieHard today...
22k miles. Wife went to start it last week (5/16) and nothing, classic dead battery symptoms. I tried a jump pack and jumper cables with no luck so it was towed to the dealer. Next day (5/17) they called to tell me the batteries were fine but the alternator is dead, itāll be 6-8 days for the...
Just my opinion but I'd wait and do front uppers/lowers at the same time. You could set the pinion angle and caster/alignment all at once and be done with it.
I donāt have emissions testing in my area of Ohio either. My point was all of the extra emissions equipment may cause longevity problems, not due to testing, but due to part failures. Or maybe it wonāt, I do plan to find out.
I doubt it, only because of the emissions crap thatās bound to cause problems at some point. Take that away and it would be a runaway winner and desirable for years to come. That being said I donāt plan to ever let my JLURD go.
This is a tough one for me as the owner of a 10A Rubicon (JK) and a JLURD. Both are different in good ways but the 10A is a 2 door soft top and Iāve really built it up so it looks better. The JLURD is unbeatable as a travel vehicle but Iām taking the JK for off-road fun every single time.
