FYI if you do a search for a Mopar 2” lift there are 7 variations for the same kit dependent on engine size not model.

Measure for yourself from front bottom spring base plate to upper spring perch lip and see what you get and I’ll tell you how much lift you have.

and when you come back here with a number I’ll tell you what the number is (with video proof) of a base 2 door sport with no mods.

I've given my stock JLR shock eye-to eye length a few times now... it was 20.5". Shock eye-to-eye is generally the most accurate way to compare vehicles, along with giving a data point for where it rides in the shock stroke.

Also we'll never be able to tell if my JLR or your Sport sits higher/lower than average. But as I pointed out before, a 20.5" ride height on a Sport would give 1" of droop... which is less than a Miata.

If the Rubicon was suppose to be taller it would also have different trackbars and swaybar links then the sport or Sahara, just like the XR does.
The XR has different sway bar endlinks to go along with it's taller bump stops (as does the Mopar lift kit). The Sport/Sahara/Rubicon (2.0/3.6) all have the same bump stop height, so there is no need to have different endlinks.

The XR also has different trackbars and an extended trackbar mount in the rear.
I don’t have a stock sport shock measurement but I do have a measurement as per the diagram above and a comparable measurement to my XR with 2.5” lift springs.

This may have been asked already, but all things being equal, does a Rubicon still get longer springs than a Sport? I’m talking if both models have the same bumpers, same tops, tow or not, etc. Exact same, just Sport vs Rubicon.

It’s been my experience that a Sport can have the same springs as a Rubicon if it has all the same options and motor size.

In that case, why do many lifts say that Sport/Willys net more lift than a Rubicon? Two identically-optioned models should get the same lift. Or is it that many Rubicons are optioned with bumpers and whatnot, and so they start with the assumption that most off-the-lot Rubicons are generally heavier?

Because Rubicons have Highline fenders to clear bigger tires. It takes more lift for the other models to clear tires.
If you look at Mopar lifts the only difference between in lift options is engine size, not model.

But a specific lift should not lift a Sport more than a Rubicon, unless the Rubicon already started higher, right?

OP, why do you want to know how tall your Jeep is?
Honestly it was just curiosity. I started this after my sport altitude was totaled and was curious as to weather a Rubi (which I have on order) would actually sit any higher or was it just the taller fenders. I just thought the door handle would be an easy consistent spot to measure.

Measuring the shock eye-to-eye lengths takes the tires & fenders out of the equation.

Spring length isn't a good way to determine ride height, since coil count & wire thickness can be different.

You need to lift a sport higher then a Rubicon to clear fenders. Again, Mopar themselves do not market their lifts by model they market them by engine size. Each engine has a different weight rating.
aftermarket companies will market differently as they go by what size tire you want to run with your lift. Like I said Rubicons have highline fenders which allow them to run larger tires with less lift.

The Mopar "two-inch" lift?
