Would putting rubicon suspension in the sport s raise it up any? I’m finding nothing concrete but thought I read it would increase an 1” higher. Can’t find anything now. Thx.

I haven't seen pics of the sport springs next to the Rubicon springs but I would be interested.

Ok I went out to dealership and compared a rubicon with steel bumpers and did a quick, unscientific measurement and the rubicon spring measured almost 2” higher. This was the rubicon suspension with red shocks.

I couldn’t find a part number on the springs although there is probably one printed somewhere. But I did find it on the front sway bar links and they are different. The springs had different color codes too But I can’t remember the colors right now.

Best I can tell the rubicon is sitting an inch or two higher than the sport, and it’s not just the fenders and tires. Look at the bump stops for comparison. At least that’s what I’m hoping as I purchased a rubicon take off suspension from a similar JL rubicon with steel bumpers.

Actually just noticed a paper tag on the picture of my sports spring. When my wife gets back I’ll go see what is on it.

Can someone with a rubicon look to see if your springs have a similar tag? This was on the front passenger spring on our sport.

Thanks.

Here are the stickers on my sport. Can anyone post theirs from their rubicon?

Okay, more research results to confirm the rubicon springs are different and taller:

Sport spring part numbers:
Rear Passenger 68253589AA
Rear Driver 68253588AA
Front Driver 68253657AB
Front Passenger 68253658AB

Rubicon spring part numbers:
Rear Passenger 68253591AA
Rear Driver 68253590AA
Front Driver 68253659AB
Front Passenger 68253660AB

What I haven’t found yet are any specs on each springs capacities.

Nice. Thanks for adding the pictures. My rubicon suspension is on the way. :)

Saw my Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70r17 tires this afternoon but they couldn’t install till tomorrow. Did get the black leather katzkins installed today though.
