I learned the hard way on the "ships from a 3rd party" tag on their site. I'm trying to get a hold of a touch up paint pen. I ordered from Quadratec because it showed "In Stock" on the product page. I generally do my ordering from Northridge and when they say in stock, they mean it's sitting on a shelf in their warehouse.

Turns out, the paint pens are on a national backorder. Best ETA date I've been able to get from anyone, even the dealer, is the end of June. Quadratec customer service has been responsive and apologetic, but I'll be wary about anything shipping from a third party on their site in the future.
Same here. I ordered standard black Mopar PX8 touch up spray paint and Mopar spray clear coat from them on March 20th with the site saying it would ship by April 15th. Well, it still hasn't shipped and the order status has said "In shipping (3rd party)" for over a month.

Yeah, they need to make their messaging in regards to 3rd party shipping much clearer. If they can't specifically control stock levels or shipping times of the 3rd party, the website shouldn't be making any claims to the fact. That includes it showing "in stock" as well as shipping dates.

I don't blame Quadratec for the delay in a national backorder, but I expect to be able to make an informed decision based on what their website is telling me.

I ordered screen protectors for my 7" screen - they came from some Mopar dealer in KY, missing several things that were to be included - I have sent 2-emails over that past 2-days about this botched order and still have not heard from "customer service."

Interesting delivery today, I thought I'd making it a little more entertaining with a poem. For some reason writing my stupid little poem actually made me feel a little better.

Twas the day before Thursday when all through the house, I was the only one home, I had the bathroom all to myself. I was nestled all snug on the couch while visions of jeep parts arrived at my house. When out on the street there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter. Away to the front door I flew like a flash. Standing in my skivvies, my face all mashed against the peep hole I did look, and what to my wondering eye should appear a FedEx driver so lively and quick, kicking my package as it laid on the ground, no smile at all just an ugly frown. I knew in a moment this must be trick. More rapid than eagles his cuss words they came, one after another, it was a shame! Dragging it behind him he reached the top of my porch, he stood the package up and right before he turned to walk away, he pushed the package over, this was insane! It made a loud crash, if only I wasn't in my skivvies I'd go whip his a**! Fortunately, my new bumper was fine, if it wasn't I'd really be in a bind! I'll install it tomorrow if all goes well, I'll celebrate with a brewsky and tell the FedEx driver "go to ****!!!

Ordered a Mopar cargo liner for my Jeep. When it arrived, the box was beat to hell and missing the install instructions and parts to install. I didn’t figure out they were missing until I was almost done installing. Called them and they sent me a replacement. Not just a part, but an entire cargo mat and told me to take the parts I needed and return the rest. So thanks for the inconvenience.

Today, I finally received the replacement and again, box beat to hell and barely taped shut. It came open during shipping and the entire bag of parts I need for one stupid plastic ring is missing. So now what, return this and get another mat I have to return? Their shipping department needs some training. Last thing I ever order from them.

I 'felt' your pain! I ordered a new bumper for my wire's Gladiator and when it arrived it the shipping box look like it took a direct hit from the B2 bomber! It had been retaped and at least 2 rolls of tape were the only thing holding the box together. Opening it up I discovered it had just been thrown in the box, broken plastic pieces, bolts missing, bent, scraped and just a box of scrap! This packed box couldn't have made it out of the factory the way it was packed!
I called Quadratech and they apologized and agreed to have their freight company pick it up and as soon as they got it back they would send another one right out. I repacked it using some 1/4" plywood and separate bags for the different items and noted all of the issues. They picked it up the next day and 2 days later I received another box. This one looked like it should have and after opening it was clear the first bumper package had been repacked by someone throwing the parts in the box and praying.
I had no issues with the second bumper...it was perfect.

However, after discussing this further with customer service I learned that there are several shipping depots they use and all returns go to them to resolve problems. They just repack their return and send damaged ones back out and hope for no complaints! This is no way to run their business.
Although it all worked out in the end, it looks like they are still shipping repacked (poorly) items to customers!

I messaged you both order numbers.
I had the same exact thing happen on the same item. 2 destroyed boxes missing the 20 clips for the cargo mat. I canceled the order and got a refund. Ships from mopar. They seem to be the problem. But I will say that I spoke to Q-Tec Multiple times and they said numerous things none of which they followed up on. So I cancelled.

I usually find that poor packaging is the culprit, not rough handling shippers. Any quality manufacturer/distributor should take the time to adequately package the product they are shipping. Higher priced items should ideally have ‘engineered’ packaging.

Same. I ordered my first ever thing from them last week, new tube doors. One is bent but they were super cool and immediately shipped a new pair out. I blame UPS.
