Might have been because I also traded my 2002 Corvette. They gave me $21k for it, which is what I paid for it 2.5 years ago. Prices on those have gone up, so maybe they thought they had more room on it.

That, and I also just wanted more luxury/modern features. My Jeep was a 2018 so it didn't have any newer features. My favorite features on the GMC are adaptive CC, the insane amount of cameras, and the massaging seats. And I still have front/rear lockers.

I've pretty much decided to give it a go myself, but I called 5 different shops in the metro Atlanta area yesterday and the cheapest I was quoted was $855 to install the AEV lift (with alignment). $1500 was the most expensive.

Ok, that makes sense. I could not see how these effected the ride height. Also, did you (and any others with the AEV kit) get the standard or high capacity springs?

To those that installed the AEV kit, what's the deal with these washers that come with the Geometry Correction Bracket? This isn't going to effect the rear, and I don't want the front of my Jeep sitting higher than the rear. Which one did you use?

I've heard it's one of the easier kits to install.

Yea, I can definitely do it myself, I'd just like to have someone who knows what they are doing to at least supervise. I've never installed a lift myself before. Suspensions are synonymous with the word "geometry", so I get nervous.
