I searched but could not find much information or reviews on the lock-n-load lift kit. Is there a benefit to lock-n-load over Game changer or vice versa?

My off roading will be mainly rocks, Johnson Valley/ Cougar Buttes.

I’m pretty sure the lock n load was for JKs, I’m not aware they made one for JL. But then again, I’m wrong a lot…. ?

Both the Long Arm and LnL for the JL are brand new. Don't think I've seen a member install yet, other than I think @CloakedWillys was running the prototype.

Would a Game Changer front end, work in harmony with a DB3 rear? ?

The lock-n-load turns the front suspension into a 2-link. The benefit I see is that this affects how the pinion angle changes under droop/compression, which is ideal if you get the pinion pointed directly at the transfer case (assuming a single cardan joint at the front, some sort of CV at the rear... like a stock shaft). This is because the 2-link's pivot point is approximately the same as the transfer case joint. Check out the driveshaft vs. link angle below:

Here's the magic that makes it flex: "Remove the bind in the Radius Arm suspension with a Lock-N-Load control arm. Allows up to 1.5 of movement under extreme forces that allows your suspension to really flex. Removes strain on bushings and brackets and provides the safety of 4 attachment points to your front axle without loosing any of the flex. Lock it for street use to stiffen up the handling and unlock it for massive articulation."

I don't see why it wouldn't.
Lol

What I reeally meant to ask was, should you long arm that mofo at the front, if you are already DB3'ing the rear?

My other question would be, would any of all these long arm, lock n load and DB3 goodies, be worth it, if only on a 2.5in MC lift? Would a 4.5in lift make more sense?

So coming back to my original question, would a game-changer(mid arm) front, with a DB3 rear, be kind of half assed, if lack of an expression, but you catch my drift?

Just wanted some clarify from a guru out there, before I spring.

Ah okay lol. The db3 would still increase your flex in the rear regardless of the front. I don’t think it would be half assed but definitely an expensive add if you're staying mid arm in the front. ??‍♂

I talked to Matt (I think) on their CS chat recently and he told me that for any long arm they make 3.5 is the minimum lift for the suspension to work.

Lol

I've heard that the only real benefit of long arm is the geometry over the mid arm...

Your flex is still limited by spring length, shocks and driveshaft assuming whatever arms you have flex ok.

Hence the geometry brackets which give your mid arms the benefit of long arms at lower cost.

I'm testing that concept out with some front geo brackets.

Pretty much. There are two parts to the long arm benefits though. Flattening the angle is part of that, which puts your travel in a more vertical portion of the travel arc (this is what the geo brackets do). The long arms actually increase the radius of the travel arc, so that flattens (vertically) that travel even more.
