I'm sticking with they fled due to being DUI. If anyone was injured, including in the jeep, it's a felony.

I think we are all missing the major concern here.

If a Tesla gets hit, IT WILL SUDDENLY JUST RAM WHAT EVER IS IN ITS WAY AND FLEE?

What in the wild fk is that?

The woman driving that Jeep had no fn clue what she was doing, causing a head on with a vehicle in the other lane because she was going way too fast for the turn.
Could of killed someone on a dry clear day and zero excuses unless the Jeep driver was impaired.
She was doing fifty on a turn that should be done at twenty.

With a quick search, found these pics. Maybe AI generated too?

Does this indicate the 392 is a rental?

I was wondering that too. The front bumper seems to be fine and the crush cans may trigger the airbag?
I don’t think Jeeps have “crush cans” to trigger airbags. I believe it’s a computer controlled algorithm and process using an accelerometer or two.

Yeah- like the one on my Wrangler that is drilled a bit lower on the right side, but too close to be re drilled. The holder is straight, the plate holes are off.

It’s not obvious, but my OCD knows it’s crooked
I can see it, that would drive me nuts. Luckily I live in a no front plate state.

Edit: And the tesla claims the car malfunctioned after, which is why they hit the Jeep and continued on. Their car malfunctioning as a direct cause of an accident doesn't suddenly make them responsible.
We are in to new territory with self driving cars, and so far from what I've seen/read the law treats self driving malfunctions the same as driver error/malfunctions. In my opinion it's no different than if the driver flipped out and did the same thing post initial impact. Doesn't matter either way to me, but a collision shouldn't cause your vehicle to ram others and drive into an embankment. Tesla is more responsible for that than the jeep driver in my opinion.

Maybe the Tesla was DUI? It probably had been consuming motor oil over the legal limit for a plug-in electric.

Possibly, but as others have said, why doesn't it have a front plate when there's a mount for it where the winch would be.

Also, I've had highest-status with Hertz, Avis/Budget and National/Enterprise - none have ever had a 392 in my experience. I've rented a lot of wranglers, but rarely even a Rubicon, let alone a 392.

Could be from an "exotic rental" agency in Vegas, since there are some of those - but they usually don't have the barcodes like that because they are usually for people who are too status-obsessed to allow it to be even hinted they rented a vehicle.

The sticker really seems National/Enterprise to me from its placement and size etc, and they do have https://www.enterprise.com/en/exotic-car-rental/vehicles/premium-all-terrain/jeep-rubicon.html but again, I would still expect it to have front plates and the two times I've gotten that class (the "premium / Rubicon" wrangler instead of the sport) of Jeep it's been a 2.0t
