This is apples, verses oranges. But I have no interest in Hybrids, or fully electric powered vehicles. There will never be one in my driveway, nor will I be forced into purchasing one. But, everybody to their own.. :) So if you like them, then go for it...........

Consumer Reports is a terrible measure of reliability. They just ask people what they think. There’s no real data studying going on here.
Its just whatever the “consumer reports”.
I dont know how theyre even still in business. Must be a money laundering operation or a CIA front (basically same thing)

Jeep for the win. Better than Tesla for reliability. Shweeet!

Well it’s Consumer Reports so take it FWIW.

literally everything dodge related is at the bottom of the barrel lol

and teslas batteries are pretty much guaranteed to die after 8-10 years not to mention tons of reports of poor construction.

IMO EV's should have their own reliability category seperate from ICE vehicles. they are basically two entirely different beasts

I truly don’t care about CR and haven’t in years. I would get more enjoyment out of a pack of gum than spending the $3.99/mth on a CR subscription.

With our current lifestyle shuttling kids around a Tesla doesn’t fit us right now, but once they get older and can drive themselves we would look to get one.

That's not true.
“Customer satisfaction” is a shit metric and always will be. It’s just like “cost of maintenance” as a measure of ownership cost. The OEM maintenance schedules get butchered to lower cost in the first 80-100k then the costs stack up as expensive components fail from lack of service. Customers see low measures of satisfaction and become dissatisfied.

Number of recalls and number of warranty claims isn’t a good measure either. Recalls being performed is a good thing.

Basically like how Consumer Reports tests appliances and electronics. Maybe put them in the same studies as samsung, lg, whirlpool etc…
