hopefully my last update as I am tired of all the aggravation.

Going on 10 Weeks now, 3 times being painted but finally got a call last evening that the painting of the "ENTIRE" jeep is completed and they are only waiting on some parts (ie push pins) to come to finish assembling.
I questioned them about the NEW TSB that came in and dealer told me that FCA/Stellantis Stated as long as the panels and hinges are painted on the back sides the TSB is not needed.
I call B.S.
I am surprised how FCA/Stellantis tries to stand behind the 3 days at $35.00/day rental under warranty repairs. This ordeal would have cost me well over $8000.00 in rental fees if Dealer didn't finally put me into a loaner after the 1st 3 weeks.

Do you happen to have the TSB where this originated from?

@JeepCares can confirm? Since I’ve already been denied due to mileage but still within the 5 years

Update on corrosion and battery issues- 2020 Wranger- 17k miles:
I picked it up today; they had the jeep for just under three weeks. The paintwork looks good; they replaced both batteries. All was covered by warranty. Here are some photos and the detail of their work to correct the issues....for now.

Those shims won't do dick for the corrosion on the lower part of the doors or the hood. Lol
Yep lower part of doors and front hood edge is what we plan to get repaired just before our 5 year corrosion warranty expires in a few months. So far $20K has been paid out for 2 previous corrosion claims.

Unfortunately some dealers look to be simply clueless - or do not want to do the TSB - because it is extra work and not as profitable as they want. So expect some to BS you and give you the run around.

Good nonetheless to see that so many others have also received acceptable TSB warranty service on this after 3 years. No holes or panel perforation are required - simple paint bubbling is enough. Push the dealer - or better yet - go to another one that knows how to do the repairs properly. Our previous repairs are supposedly “lifetime covered”. Haha on that.

Ya, while dealer aren't perfect up here, I definitely feel like we have better experiences here. Its so hit and miss for US owners. Like the idea of a dealer not willing to warranty something because the vehicle wasn't bought from them is alien to me. I moved around a lot during my career and almost always had warranty shit that needed to be done beyond original dealership.

At this point. They should just manufacture steel doors, hoods, hinges, etc.

Avoid this BS altogether.

going back in for more correction....third time...I swear they should cover all our jeeps with this problem for life....unacceptable you pay over 50k for a vehicle and after the first year of owning it you have this problem and to make it worse for the next 4 years you have the same problem...

Swung by my dealer and looks like some ‘23s have the hinge fix. The gap from the zinc plate is very obvious. Can slide a credit card.

Here is an early ‘23 without the fix… gap is tight. Can’t fit credit card. Same as on my ‘22.

Mine is an early '23 and has that same gap initially, and then hits something once past the gap.

By the way LCW, check your hood hinges. Mine does not appear to have that modification in that location.
