Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Upon further review, it now looks like no gasket. I drove out to the dealer to get my paperwork and some clarification. When I talked to the manager that told me that the hinges now include a gasket, he walked back the gasket statement. I'm pretty sure he was talking about the addition of the ridge as pointed out by @drichard989 a few posts up. I think he probably meant the new hinges have a better seal, but he said gasket. And when I looked at the new hinges, the extra gap from the ridge makes it look like there is a gasket.

Here's some pictures of old and new hinges. The close up picture of the new hinge shows a ridge and not a gasket.

The part numbers are a combination of AE and AF revisions.

Discussed the issue with the service advisor (our local Jeep dealer has their own Bodyshop.) They are very aware of the problem and process.
After taking photos and submitting a case for approval, I was informed that all repair and refinish will be covered under corrosion warranty incl. a “lifetime warranty” on all refinished panels.
Very pleased with the outcome…now let’s see how the end result will look.

Just got scheduled for paint shop for my hood edge bubble. Had appointment at dealer on 13 Oct, took pictures etc. just now scheduled for 24. April at Body Shop by dealership. I guess the body shop is scheduled out to sept.

If it is still within the 5 year window get a claim started ASAP before you run out of time.

Took to Jeep dealer as advised and the bodyshop was more than happy to assist. Took photos and measurements, also found paint bubbles around the inside edge of my hood. They are starting the claim today and will get scheduled for repair. Unfortunately the repair is sand, primer and paint but at least it will be fixed until it comes back. Still have 8 months left on the 5 year coverage. Thank you for the advice, greatly appreciated.

Did you buy that jeep used? Do you know if it has been repaired once already? Hate to say it, but it looks like the hinges were already repainted - notice where the "T-50" is embossed - it should be a lot more crisp and defined.......

I have a 2020 Wrangler. It goes in for paint correction on Monday, and they said they need it for 6 days. So far, the paint is starting to bubble on the tailgate hinges, and I found a small bubble on one of the door panels today. I bought the Jeep out of the lease recently. I feel like I made an expensive mistake. When the paint warranty expires this Jeep will go on the market.

This is apparently what I assumed were gaskets on my new 2023. Sadly, they have done nothing of significance to correct the problem.

Just discovered this issue on my 2020 Granite Crystal JL. Lower corner of the drivers door and above the top hinge on the same. On the bright side, I only have two doors?!?!?!?!
Will be taking it to my local dealer, they have their own body shop, we'll see how it goes. Very disappointing for a 3 year old vehicle with 27k miles.
