  1. Seized Jeep for sale

USPS crime is probably the Feds. I'm going to say some white collar crime involving money / fraud / embezzlement, etc. They're taking assets and / or property paid for by the crimes.
  2. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

Found a real picture of the updated hinges. Looks like the zinc shims are part of the hinge. I wonder if they updated the hood and tailgate hinges too.
  3. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

So is the shim part of the hinge itself? Or is it placed between the hinge and the door panel? The link only shows the hinge itself. Part Numbers sometimes change without an update / change to the part.
  4. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

I think that's a myth. I haven't seen anyone actually confirm or post one of the gaskets. From an angle, looking at the hinges, it can appear that there is a gasket. But it looks like a different color because it's unpainted and it's such a poor job that it seems like there is a gasket in...
  5. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

This is the kind of story that makes me wish we would all sue Jeep and demand a lifetime warranty. That way they can take their sweet time doing the repairs and we don't have to worry about a warranty expiring.
  6. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

There should be a new picture thread with people claiming to have the worst corrosion. 😂 That will get attention.
  7. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

They don't really recognize the demand for 2 doors with a manual. It's a niche vehicle now.
  8. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

No, that was my point. Jeep gives incentives to get sell older units sitting on the lots and the dealerships are tacking on worthless accessories. Listing accessories for thousands of dollars to bring the OTD price to MSRP. Thus the dealership making the profit instead of the customer getting a...
  9. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

Ventura Crown has 2022 Gladiators market under MSRP and $7,000 worth of accessories. These dealerships are literally fighting the manufacturer in getting these off their lot. If Jeep lowers the price even further. The dealership marks up the accessories even more. Dealerships are literally...
  10. 2024 EPA Fuel Economy Ratings

I bought it for fun too and not for fuel economy. The window sticker rated it at 24mpg highway for the 2.0 w/ XR. My current vehicle was getting 27mpg. I drive about 2500 miles per month. So, when I was hit with 17mpg highway vs. 24mpg highway. It was a HUGE difference, especially at $6 a...
  11. 2024 EPA Fuel Economy Ratings

I've had 2 with the V6 and my current one is an XR with the 4 cyl. I wouldn't go back to the V6. Better gas mileage and torque out of the 4 cyl. Even with the 35s and the 4.56 gears. The 2.0 feels way more powerful than the V6 in my own personal experience once you get on the throttle. Saves...
  12. Dishonest Dealership

Cancelled the extended warranty on one of my cars because it got sold and I'm still waiting a year later. It was also the dealership.
  13. Creaking from the rear

The exhaust mounts are also rubber. My Mustangs would make a similar sound. But definitely sounds like rubber. I'm going to go with a bushing.
  14. Creaking from the rear

Make sure to get the sway bar bushings. I'm pretty sure thats what it is. Follow up if this fixes it. 👍
  15. Creaking from the rear

Is anything aftermarket in the suspension? Sounds like a dry bushing to me.
  16. California 22' Wrangler Willys Sport Xtreme Recon F/S

  17. Getting New Engine!

I personally wouldn't replace anything. Why spend money on parts you might not need to replace for 100k miles? That's just throwing money away. If it's still under warranty, you're covered anyway right?
  18. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

I haven't seen a single person post a picture of the spacer once the door is removed. I don't believe this is true. I think they're confusing the primer / bare metal under the hinge for a spacer because it's a different color.
  19. Xtreme 35 Tire Package Announced by Jeep -- Giving 35" Inch Tires to Two-door 2024 Wrangler for the First Time Ever

You're already paying for it at those prices. It should be included in the price. Not an additional few thousand dollars for such a minor option. They eliminated the Willy's Sport. It's all profit instead of being more competitive or less greedy, but it's catching up to Stelantis. Go compare...
  20. Xtreme 35 Tire Package Announced by Jeep -- Giving 35" Inch Tires to Two-door 2024 Wrangler for the First Time Ever

I actually have a JLU Willy's XR Sport. Yes, I do believe it was overpriced at 46.5k. Because I believe power locks / windows should be standard. They could be standard. Because the Grand Cherokee at that price point offers way more. Even the RAMs at that price point offer more. Every...
