I look at it as coming up with a way to not spend money that's wasted. For instance, wiring up a kill switch to the push start button, is a much better way to spend a few bucks, I hear. ;)
Just get one of the small booster packs and keep it plugged in until you need it. No requirement to worry about trickle charge.
As an aside, I've had the Cascadia VSS for 3 years on my 21 OEM batteries. Never had an issue at all.
That's a terrible story that we have all been through. What it isnt is OCD, though. Ask anyone diagnosed if they will switch with your "OCD" vs theirs. Lol.
