Shock upgrade

Rubicon suspension up front with 3/4 spacer. The rear has “1” Synergy springs. I do carry considerable weight on our trips and the Jeep appears to have a factory rake when loaded so in that circumstance, I’m unsure if longer than stock shocks are needed. Correct?

Really, I’m looking for a little better ride on the trail. A simple adjustable setup might be interesting to me.

I suppose I might need to take measurements to verify whether stock length shocks or longer is needed. If longer is needed, considering my ride height loaded, would I need different bump stops?

If you can get shock length measurements, you can compare that to where the shocks sit at ride height. That will give you a good idea on how much up/down travel you have. Lifting the Jeep higher and keeping the same length shocks will reduce your droop travel from ride height. May not sound like a big deal, but it can affect your ride quality. However within 1" of added lift, shouldn't make a huge difference.
