Which shock should I upgrade to? I have a 22 sport s JLU. Stock suspension but put on the wildpeak at3 285/70/17. Running 33psi. Wanting a little better ride. Daughter is starting to drive and want her to be comfortable in it. I have an opportunity to get bilstein 5100 0-1.5 for the front , but before I do and go but the rear shocks. Wanted to see if anyone has recommendations? This will be mainly road driving with very little , light off roading. Thanks for any input
I would suggest the Rancho RS7-MT I am very pleased with the ride and handling on my JLUR with 2.5” RK Lift and the price is hard to beat. I purchased mine on sale at Rock auto.

Stock suspension, 33s. Rancho 5000. Easy choice. I've never been disappointed with them.

Bilstein 5100s are very firm and will take about 5k miles to begin to smooth out a little. Great shocks, long lasting, excellent for towing or for overland gear laden Jeeps.

Fox have the benefit or tuning/rebuilding, which is suggested every 50k miles. Are you really going to remove them and take then in to be tuned or rebuilt? So why pay more for a shock that has benefits most people don't take advantage of.

Rancho 9000s have great reviews, you get to set the valving on it via and adjustment knob. The only complaint I've read about them is that the knob is hard to adjust after being in one position for a long time. Everyone I've known who has them is happy with them.

I have no experience with the Rancho RS7-MT. Looks like a great shock. No experience with OME either, but have heard nothing but good things.

I'd recommend Eibach, but they only have shocks for lifted applications. I have a set on my pickup, and I'm very pleased with them.
