JL XR Rubicon Payload

I need to haul a bunch of books (in boxes) to a seminar that will weigh a total of 1,250 lbs (each box weighs about 5lbs and I'm taking 250 boxes.) Google returns show that the payload for a JL Rubicon is 1,351. Do you think this is accurate - can I safely haul this much weight? Thanks.

look at your door sticker....I am guessing you will be overloaded...how far do you have to drive? if just a short distance on flat straight roads I would think about it. but if long distance on high speed roads maybe not. remember your pay load includes your weight....

I'm driving about 11 miles in Austin. I think I will make two trips just to be safe. I will be reimbursed mileage. Thank you.

I wouldn't be concerned at all until going over the limit. You weigh less than 101 pounds, right?

It's a Jeep. Load it and drive it. And those "limits" likely have safety margins built into them.
