Picked up a set of the jeep branded Midlands. Bought them more for use with the camper adventures. They are well built little units. I liked the Jeep branding, cost was a little higher but YOLO.
As above, I love my diesel. I tow a camper as well. I have 55K on it will zero issues except the Fuel pump recall which was replaced without issue. I run 35" tires and get in the 24 mpg. I test drove the gas models but preferred the diesel myself during the test drive. Doing the fuel filter...
Unrelated, 5 is the camera. 4 is the lug locking nut and key to remove the nut so you can mount the spare to the carrier. I am not sure what year your Jeep is but my 2021 camera would not fit in the extended snout. I believe you need a 23 or newer camera to fit.
I installed this a while back but forgot I had pics. I installed a Curt class III Trailer Hitch for 20-24 3.0L EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler JL. I read somewhere that the OEM hitch was not rated for WD hitch. This claims that it is rated for the WD hitch. The new receiver hitch is beefed up a bit. It...

Added the CMM 1" Ball Mount + Scotch MagicMount. I can now use it for my phone, RV tire monitor and or myRV backup camera. My wife can also use it for her phone now too. I have the 67 designs for my phone or the RV backup camera.
Actually his post means you do not move it to the side like I suggested but just spin the jack where it is 90 degrees so the larger part of the jack head is facing left or right, not strait ahead. This would gain some room but not enough for myself.
I honestly do not know, they looked fairly similar in my opinion too. I read somewhere that the OEM was not rated for the WDH so this seemed to say it was. I figured it could not hurt. Hopefully it added a little something. I tow under the Jeep rating so hopefully it is all good.
I appreciate your input. I do not tow over the Jeep rated limits. I am around 2,900 lbs. I only changed out the OEM receiver because it was not rated for WDH, so I figured this would be better. Maybe it is or not. I did not put a class III on to tow more weight just to be clear. I feel safer...
