Would this be a good place to start launching “yo mama” jokes back and forth?

We could try, but I bet your mom's big ass would block the jokes even though she's sitting several states over

It's a strange mix when the wife wants the rugged, basic vehicle, and the husband wants all the comforts with a cloud like ride.

What I really don't get is why you came here to complain. Let her be the rugged one in the family. Now go sit back and drink your $8 cup of latte and have some quiet time, while she goes out and gets the yard work done.

Yo momma been around the block so many times that her tramp stamp is a trail rated badge.
Yo mama has been around the ‘hood so many times that her tramp stamp is a hooker-rated badge.

I started out thinking "poor guy - Jeeps aren't for everyone. It's just a preference thing." After reading this whole "crying thing..." I'm laughing thinking "not really anything to get torn up over if it isn't your ride. Why are you posting on here if it isn't even yours? Just stop." Yep. That's where I ended up. "Just stop"...

I tell friends that see my Jeep and say they might want one - "it is not a car, truck or van-like SUV." New to Jeep people really have zero clue what they are getting into and it seems many dealership sales folk don't know enough about Jeeps to educate potential buyers in what they might like better between the models. You simply aren't a Jeep person. Your wife is. Nothing to feel hurt over. It isn't personal. Your the souped up minivan guy. We all have preferences.

1. My Sahara JLU rides great, until I get on a crap road - then it's a Jeep! I was already used to that ride though. Our Ram 2500 Limited Mega Cab also had solid front axle.

3. Dunno what to tell you. We went with 4 cyl 2L turbo. Technically "smaller" than v6. This sob shockingly actually gets on it nicely. We were "no 4 cyl Jeep" folks, then test drove one and were shocked. Maybe you need to get your wife's looked at? Maybe test drive next time. Dunno about more powerful engine options.... they are limited.
They are Jeeps.
1. I went from a '00 Ford Excursion diesel (also solid front axle) to a Gladiator to a JLUR. The Excursion had the best ride of the 3, but it also had softer springs than a regular F250 that it shared most everything else with. 2nd best ride was the Gladiator, which actually had a longer wheelbase than the Excursion, which made it pretty damn nimble for a Jeep.

OP should ride in a Jeep with high mileage Rough Country springs and shocks on a rough road, then go back to his wife's JLU and he'll be praising how smooth and plush it actually is. Lol

3. I was also part if the "No 4cyl Wrangler" group until I test drove two lifted JLUs back to back. One was a 3.6 on 35s and the other was a 2.0t on 35s. The 2.0 impressed me. I found a YouTube video that dyno'd two Wranglers, and it showed that the 2.0t made about 47lbs-ft of torque to the rear wheels more than the 3.6, while it only made about 6hp less. I ended up buying a 2.0t JLUR and have a 93 octane Superchips tune on it, which provides a significant power gain "under the curve".

So we in fact found out that you cannot successfully compete in a yo momma competition

Are there actual competitions, where one can win prizes, money, or quality time with yo mama??
