Also a gas (halogen, pricey) extinguisher, so B/C only. It's important to decide what you want one for then make sure the type you get covers that case (or those cases). For engine (etc.) fires that's perfect. I am still thinking I want a conventional dry powder for campfires and such, plus a gas type where I can grab it as I hop out for engine fires.I went this route because I liked what I read about it……. I can’t give you a real world review, and I hope I never can…..?

I'd be nervous about putting one under the hood as it can get very hot under there (plus there's almost no room under mine).
That said, I think in 40+ years I've only used my extinguisher once, and that was when a fellow camper got his old Coleman white gas lantern too close to his tent. The tent was a loss but the forest was saved.
