Hi folks,

Planning on mounting a Fire
Extinguisher onto my C-Pillar. I was thinking of using this mounting plate: https://www.h3rperformance.com/products/jeep-wrangler-jl-fire-extinguisher-mount but it says it’s only compatible with the 4-door.
To further complicate things, I have a ‘24 with the airbags mounted onto the rails. Anyone know of any alternatives for a secure c-pillar mount for the 2-door ‘24s?

OK, I'm going off thread but only mildly.

The fire extinguisher that sits distal to your driver's seat is the one you can't possible get to if fire comes between you and it.

I've got this North of the PRNDL shifter: https://elementfire.com/collections/allproducts

Thanks Andy! I looked at getting an element earlier on, until I read more on it. It seemed to not perform as good as
A traditional ABC. 20 minute mark:

Yeesh. Glad I have also have a "cylinder" in the rear (my initial purchase.) The promo videos seem more effective that this guy's experience and I really don't think it fair to say that he used it inproperly, or like the narrative said, that you or I, not in fire turnout gear, could have gotten any closer.

I do like the accessibility factor of the Element. I can use it to battle the fire between me and my cylinder extinguisher. ;)

I found a solution if you have a hard top. This solution uses the soft top folding mechanism holes located on the outside of the C-pillar/roll bar. However, the 2 door bracket he makes use a standard extinguisher bracket. His 4 door version uses the H3R MB 300 extinguisher mount you have pictured. I have asked him if it were possible to adapt his 2 door mount for use with the MB 300 mount. He told me he will work on it this weekend and see what he can come up with. The only issue is space. You can see from his pictures there is less room to work with on the 2 door roll bar. Here is a link to his site and what he currently makes. It's pretty slick if you have a 2 door or 4 door hard top.

This is the quick release extinguisher holder that I found. Similar to Flips. All metal and the band clamps have shrink tape on them. It does not rattle. It was around $22.00 on Amazon. It came with an assortment of difference size band clamps. No regrets!

This lookin to be the solution. How’s the stability? Any lateral/side-to-side movements from the mount?

No movement any direction. It can be mounted higher or lower or any position around the bar. It will take a larger diameter extinguisher.

I 2nd the no movement! It does not shift, move, rattle, it's as solid as the salt of the earth....well, OK maybe I got a little carried away with that last comment. FYI, I had a scrap piece of black vinyl laying around the house, I decided to use, I was worried the hose claps might scuff the roll bar. You do not have to do this. This was just my brain being paranoid, my OCD kicking in. In my defense my jeep at that time was brand spanking new in the box. ;)

Best of luck my friend and btw I don't recommend products that don't work or just because it's what I have.

Thanks for the link, scruffy! Curious what he’ll come up with!
