Cool, I'll have to look for that. I guess I feel left out with my 2.0! Feel like we got left out of the engine badging! Ha!
I have seen a few 2.0 Turbo decals every once in a while. Not my thing but you can get some pretty cool custom decals made if you like. Check out Pixeldecals. He's a forum member and does great work. Great service too.

Perhaps engine badging is necessary so the clueless mechanics at the stealership at least have a remote idea of what to look for under the hood..
Like how many quarts of oil to use....

If Jeep had put an engine designation badge on the Wrangler, mine would have been gone in the first week I owned the Jeep along with the rest of the decals, badges and stick on letters that were on it.

I'm not sure how many owners feel the same way but I debadge my vehicles right after I purchase them.

Travis, please expand on this. I'm not following you.
Around the outside of the rubicon hood decal is a color. That color usually indicates the engine. Red is v6 bronze 392 light blue 4xe etc. I’ve seen those colors on other markings on the Jeep too that are not rubicon. That’s how I’ve been able to tell so far at least. I’m sure there are cases that are one offs but seems to be consistent

There's a forum member here who had a custom dog tag made with "5 quarts only" (or something quite similar) printed thereon. It was secured to the oil fill cap via a key ring and a carefully drilled hole. A good idea, IMO.

I remember seeing that.

Why let everyone know you have the cheapest smallest engine?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I am just going to put 392 on the back and now people will think I have the most expensive biggest engine!

I installed badges that list all of the options I chose when ordering my jeep, along with led light up arrows that strobe towards the option badges, only so that people who didn't purchase the same options as me can know they are of lower stature ?

If it's not painfully obvious that I'm just kidding, I am just kidding. Some people care way to much about the stuff other people own, like it makes a difference on what they own and their personal happiness lol.

Amazing how this thread evolved, mainly just asked for thoughts on badges and it turned into looking down upon others based on what engine they have. I choose my Jeep because it was a first run on the color that I had in my 2012. It came with the turbo 2.0 which I have to say is a pretty peppy motor compared to the 3.6 in my old JK. The other feedback regarding the badging was nice to see though and opinions.

Probably a little bit of insecurity going around. It's your Wrangler and your hard earned cash. You be you. I owned both the 2.0 and 3.6.. I loved the 2.0T. Gecko is awesome! ?

I think most of the "looking down upon others" comments were in jest, I know mine were. The only reason I would share the options I chose would be in context of a question regarding one or all of them. That said, I am not jealous of anyone else's Jeep here, and I wouldn't want anyone to be jealous of mine. (admission: those 392 XR's make me positively GREEN with envy) hahahaha
