Actually. There is something you can help me with.

Help me understand why it is, exactly, you called this meeting.
Hey man do whatever you want. Most of us are doing everything we can to increase ground clearance and remove hang points. These do the opposite.

i appreciate your concern for my build. Ive weighed all the pro’s and con’s of the various methods to go about my build for my intended purpose, and the geo brackets are it.

I've had Control arm drop brackets on my JK for years. I have never been hung on them and only the passenger side has a few scrapes in it.

Keeping the arms parallel to the road helps tremendously with handling and braking. So much that I left them on when I put the full set of control arms on.

No I understand, just the type of wheeling I do there's no way I wouldn't destroy them. They hang down much lower than my sliders and would get hung up backing off obstacles. The factory LCA mounts already get dragged on everything as it is. I'll be going long arm to get the ultimate in ground clearance and geometry.

Which, if thats how you wheel, they probably wouldnt be the best choice.

for me, i prioritize vehicle stability and dynamics at speed while under load above everything else i do with suspension -even above articulation- so for my needs, the geo brackets with ACA’s offer a massive advantage over ACA’s alone.

Just finished installing these. They do wonders for anti dive on road and ride quality. Really nice.

they dont hang down any lower than the rear lca frame mount, and anyone that says they ripped them off wheeling im calling bullshit on.

Can you post some good photos of these?

My JLR dives like a submarine and launches like a drag car. I wonder if this could help.

Just don't install them and forget about them. A couple years ago I was up at the end of Top Of The World and 2 JK's were up there with problems directly involving those drop brackets. They were loose and all over the place. It had been going on for long enough that the bolts were about to give way. So they broke out a portable welder and glued it back up.

Be sure to keep an eye on them.

Hey folks. Curious if anyone tracked their caster after lifting and using the AEV geo brackets.

how much did you lift? What setting in the bracket did you Use? What was your caster after?

thanks
PS... it isn't perfect but it will get you close. You can sit an angle finder on the ball joint and get a pretty accurate read out.

good tip, thanks. I check tq on aftermarket stuff frequently As a habit. My first assumption is that lots of people are too lazy to get them up to the 190lb/ft they call for and they go loose.

What kind of wheeling do you normally do

I do plan on installing a set of those. @Maximus-3 makes the brackets with skids to slightly mitigate the possibility of getting caught when reversing.

There are always some "Mr. know it all" and "Mr. my way is the right way" like to chime in. Some modifications are situational people often forget.

Thanks for sharing these... I have other Maximus-3 products that I am very happy with. It looks like this transmission crossmember hangs about as low as these brackets.

Has anyone ever run these with less than 2" of lift?

may not be advisable. Aev stipulates a
minimum measurement between coil seat and frame to run them
