I'd email AEV with that question. They probably even have a chat possibility on their website, maybe ask a technician there.Anyone know the º difference in the square washers for the AEV Geometry Brackets? I'm currently using the middle hole and wondering what the caster increase would be going to the 3rd(furthest back) setting.
Brad - which lift were you using on those jeeps?I can't answer your question but I personally used the highest caster setting on those for both my jeeps. It can't be more than about 4mm lowest to highest so I would expect the resulting change would be fractions of a degree difference.
Out of curiosity I threw this into photoshop and overlayed them. Granted, their diagram may not be an actual scale drawing but they look like they're close.
+2.0 and +3.5-4 (smallest to highest)
+2.5-3 and 3.5-4 (middle to highest)
have you measured your caster on either/both?@memayo it's the DualSport 2.5"
I went to the higher setting because (before I installed the first one) I heard folks were getting 3" + of lift out of them. I did it again on the second one because I didn't have any problems on the first one.
That is correct sir…..however in the future, can you use the ones I’m accustomed to reading. analog…..Ok the things I do when I should be working…
Zeroed this on the floor and turned it on its side to measure. I got 90.1 on this side and 90.0 on the other. I think that gives me 6.1 / 6.0 degrees of caster. I’m sure the .1 is within the margin of error on this measuring thing. @Roky does that sound right?
This is on the diesel ^
Lol man I struggle with analog clocks! That is correct sir…..however in the future, can you use the ones I’m accustomed to reading. analog…..
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted to see. Amazon should be delivering my angle locator today and I’ll get a measurement with the middle hole on my diesel. ThanksOk the things I do when I should be working…

I have read the drive on the hwy feels more stable +6On the 2.0T it’s lower. Average of 89.6 and 89.4… 89.5…. Does that equal 6.5° or 5.5°?
I’m going to guess 5.5 because the 2.0T doesn’t handle quite as well as the diesel. Always figured it was due to the lighter engine but may be it’s that and less caster?
did you measure how much lift you got? If it’s in the 3” range you might want to go with the same (highest) caster setting on the square washer.Perfect. Exactly what I wanted to see.
