Add me to this list. Unbelievable. I am really disappointed in Chrysler engineering and quality. Never owned Mopar before was hoping it would be better than this. Between failing limited slip rear differential and crappy paint whatā€™s next??? So sad as I love the Jeep thing.

Any known changes to 2020 models to prevent this?

What has me really concerned about this is the areas where corrosion might exist that we can't see. Like on the inside or backside of body panels or where the body tub is matted to the steel frame. Based on my experience with this so far, going to the dealer for a corrosion repair could be something that we will need to do every 6-12 months. Well...at least until our corrosion warranty ends and it's no longer covered.

It doesn't look like it. The Corrosion bulletin that Wranglerguyman posted above applies to Wranglers from 2018 to the Current model year.

All 4 of my doors and a spot starting on my hood. I love my jeep but I have had too many issues like this with it. I take extremely good care of my vehicles. Its disappointing. I just spent a week fixing all the frame and axle rust myself. I am working with my servicing dealer. Body shop wants NEW panels to repair it correctly.

AGREE!!! EXTREMELY disappointing. I am also meticulous with my vehicles. Wash/wax routinely and never let road salt sit on them for any length of time. After only 2 winters this shows up. Don't know what to do, as I am sure it will look terrible if they try to blend/touch up and I am POSITIVE it will come back anyhow. Good luck to you and let us know how it works out. Mine is at dealer now looking at this and we'll see what they say.

So I only read pages 1-3 and 6-7 but the rear quarters are ferrous, aren't they? How/where exactly did Jeep mate the two in the body and how are they attached together? Seems there might be a major area for galvanic corrosion going unseen?

Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s galvanic corrosion. In my case, the front edge of my hood is bubbling up, the edge of my rear passenger door is bubbling up as well as 2 of the 4 door hinges. Apparently itā€™s a known issue amongst all FCA vehicles using aluminum panels. The Grand Cherokee forums have a decent amount of cases of this, which is where I found the tsb I posted a few posts back.
