Would it be best to take my new Sahara and take the hinges off and do some preemptive maintenance/gasket/coating to try to prevent the corrosion? Can it be done in a way that would prevent the corrosion?
Don't know what that's going to do? Especially since the corrosion shows up in other places besides the hinges. Like on your hood, door panels and window frame. I've seen Jeeps with it in many different spots that aren't even near the hinges.

I hope a vendor sells steel doors, hood, hinges.

Instead of having people repaint every 3 years.
I wonder how much weight steel would add? Maybe do carbon fiber instead expensive but worth it if you're Jeep is a forever Jeep. Plus the cost of Carbon fiber price have come down over the years.

The problem is still going to be around the window frames and areas like that.

I just pray my 2022 XR never runs into this. I guess i day dream that Jeep has it fixed already. Lol.

I would imagine it 's a safety concern. All crash tests done with aluminum. ?

I'm not talking about making the entire Jeep Carbon fiber. And I was talking about owners that are having problems adding the carbon fiber parts not the factory. Even still there are exotic cars that come made with carbon fiber from the factory.

I don't know they've admitted and recognized this problem with their vehicles back in 2013 and still haven't fixed it totally.

was an ‘18 Rubicon Mojito! now a boring Mazda
I’ve even read on the RAM forums that folks are having this issue as far back as 2014.
I know everyone loves wranglers as do I and was excited to get my first one. But I can’t justify paying my hard earned money fir a vehicle that has numerous issues and corroding.
corrision deteriorates the panels and unless you own a body shop is an expensive fix.
I’m shopping for another vehicle. Preferably one that doesn’t have any aluminum if such a thing exists.

I don't think so. Not anymore. Aluminum is not really the issue, but an issue with manufacturing. Plenty of other cars and trucks using aluminum without any issues. Cross contamination and poorly painted parts.

Unless you want a Corvette. All of the cosmetic panels are fiberglass, carbon fiber, and plastic. I liked mine because it couldn't get door dings. ?

I got my Jeep back Wednesday. A couple notes:
The paint match is not perfect. The doors and hood are a lighter shade, not by much, but you can see it.
The paint quality is outstanding. They actually resprayed the entire door panels and I lost some scratches.
Thoughts on if I should try to get this paint match fixed or is this acceptable? I wonder if they’d respray my exterior body to match the doors? I thought maybe I could live with it, but it kind of does bother me. What’s your opinions? I guess if they aren’t willing to help me any further, I could always look into a vinyl wrap someday…. (Note, i did take pictures in the most obvious lighting and angles I could get)

Yeah that would be nice. I hope I'm never in that position. Fingers crossed ?

Silver is tough to match - color and how the metallic paint lays. While the paint quality may look good, future resale will be affected since the slight mismatch is apparent. Not sure how to resolve - just a fact.

Mine isn’t bubbling where the bolt is it’s the side by of the hinge pin. But I guess it’s the same thing?

That would bother me also and having done body work, I can tell you that silver-ish colors are difficult to match, particularly if they are high metallic. If it were me, I would ask about the remainder of the vehicle and perhaps they might even split the cost if not covering in full.
