Only wire from the Jeep harness going to the taillight that you need is the white wire w/ beige trace. I used the one on the drivers side and used a T-tap to easily splice into it. I then used one of those threaded holes in the bottom side of the metal bumper mount for my ground point. Your bumper lights should only have a hot lead and ground lead unless they also have other functions.
So you are saying that I should cut the white wire from the switch connector, run it to the back and splice it with the white/beige wire? Then I assume the front red and black wires connects to the battery? But what about the back red and black wires? All this is extremely foreign to me. Thank you for your help.

No, you remove the taillight and just tap (not cut into) the white wire w/ beige stripe to connect your hot wire from your lights (should be the red one)
Here's a couple posts I made, first one shows how to remove the taillights, and the other is a backup light bar I installed.
The first link will show the cluster of wires at that connector (where that white w/ beige wire is located)

And a picture of what a T-tap looks like (these can be bought at most auto part shops)

I tapped the red cable to the white and beige. Ground and tried ungrounded the black. There is another red wire going to the battery and another black wire that I also grounded from the rest of the harness. Even the light with in ON/green and it still wont work. Also on the picture as part on the harness for LED bumper lights are a fuse and a relay.

Hmmm, do you happen to have a brand/model # for the bumper, and a pic of the bumper?

With respect to the wiring diagram, if I were to tap into the wires running to the right tail light assembly, would I tap into the white w/ purple wire? And is this diagram good for all tail light assemblies (ones with LEDs and blind spot sensors)?
That would be the white w/ purple trace wire on the passenger side. The LEDs AFAIK are the same except they are set up for the light load LEDs vs. the heavier load halogens in regard to the actual tailight, so if you do use aftermarket LED taillightss that come w/ load resistors you wouldn't use them for the LED setup.
I'n unsure where the blind spot sensors are wired in, it would seem to be a separate circuit.

I have the factory installed LED light package with blind spot monitoring in the tail light assembly. I’m installing a pair of these Quadratec lights (https://www.quadratec.com/products/97109_100X_A_PG.htm) and from what I’ve read, I should be able to tap into either the driver or passenger side backup light power wire. I’m a novice at electrical so I want to make sure I’m not going to screw things up before tapping into any wires. I also want to make sure I’m not overloading the circuit. I hope someone here on the forum can verify this.

So, my LOD rear bumper has insert plates for adding rear lights, and since even the LED stock back up lights suck, I decided to add a pair of Rigid D Series flush mount lights. I used the great info in this thread to get them wired up to my back up lights and to Aux 2. I used a pair of diodes to prevent backfeeding. The lights are awesomely bright, 2500 lumens each. Unfortunately for me, they are apparently a bit power hungry and they won't stay on solid with the reverse light feed. They work great with the Aux switch. I really didn't want to have to push the button whenever I reverse in the dark, but that looks like what I'll have to do unless I want to go to a smaller set of lights... I'll most likely rewire everything to remove the excess wiring, just to declutter unless someone has a great idea on how to make the reverse light hook up have enough juice?

Also, not as much of a hot spot as the pictures make it appear. I couldn't convince my phone to take any better pics.

EDIT: So after typing all of this out I actually thought of a simple way to fix this, and bonus, I won't have to pull anymore wires. I just ordered a 12VDC relay and another inline fuse. I'm going to use the wires to the reverse lights as my trigger for the relay, hook up the relay lead to the positive battery terminal and then to the LED lead, repurposing the diode already there. Should have everything on Friday...

Someone order these so I don't have to be the guinea pig, lol
I'd order and be the guinea pig in a heart beat if they were bright-white LEDs instead of the red LEDs.

Looks promising! I have been waiting for a back up light solution for the reflectors. I hope they make a set that has bright-white LED back up lights.

Looks like China knew what we were looking for. Replacement reflectors with lights are out. This one has red LED strips inside, hopefully we can easily replace those with a bright white option or they offer it in white.

Thanks for the link. Hopefully they come out with a white back up light option soon!
