Just ask @cosine he knows!
Just installed this on my JL Sport, just used large zinc coated sheet metal screws into the plastic cover, seemed to get a solid bite, if they end up not holding tight I'll get some anchor-type fasteners. Seems to throw a good amount of light as it's a combo light bar w/ 4 flood beams (2 on each outside edge) and 6 spot beams in the middle). There's 2 sets of mounting brackets so you have options. Simple install w/ a t-tap on the white w/ beige trace wire on the drivers side tail connector and a short ground to a bolt in the threaded underside of the bumper. It fits nice up into that recessed section in the center of the bumper cover so pretty well protected.

So does this come on when you shift into reverse?

Yes, used it for the first time at a parking area after a ballgame, man what a difference. And the backup camera is actually useful now at night :)

what hot wire did you plug in tail light to turn it on on while on reverse?
On the drivers side taillight you tap into the white wire w/ the beige trace, I just used a simple T-tap.

The light bar I linked in first post isn't currently available, this link looks to be a very similar version (maybe even identical, although listed dimensions between the two are different)

It’s supposed to go on the license plate but since our plate is off centered, I decided to just put it in the middle of the bumper under the tire. It’s nicely hidden and makes a huge difference at night. I will try to post pictures of the screen with it on and off.

I also have it installed on my 2019 Ram 1500. Have had it on it for over a year without an issue!! Highly recommended

Nice job. I have two of them. Planning on mounting on each side of the tow assembly a little further back on the frame. Hope mounting a little further back wont affect light output too much

How did you run the wiring to the rear driver’s side taillight? Any pictures? Thanks

Here's a post I made about installing my LED taillights, pretty much just follow what I did removing the drivers side taillight, and the wire harness after the connector going to the taillight you just unwrap some of the harness tape to get to that white wire w/ beige trace and T-tap (don't cut) into that wire for the lights hot lead, and for the ground I just put an eye lug connector on a 16ga wire and bolted into the lower side of metal bumper in the drivers side threaded hole (not sure of the thread size but it's a pretty large bolt over a 1/4")

And the T-tap connector (most auto parts shops have them)

All of these examples are pretty great, simple, and easy upgrades. Anyone heard of upgrading the third brake light to LED?

I believe there have been a few around here that have done that :)

I had the VLED on another car. On top of the plate frame.

Can you post pics of it mounted on your bumper? I would like to see how it looks? Pics at night of the back up camera screen with the light ON and OFF would be nice too.

Thanks
