Kicking off by thru-hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail - 165 miles around the mountain watershed ringing lake tahoe.

Buying a Jeep. Do more four-wheeling on weekdays when the trails aren't packed with weekenders. Travel and explore more of the american west, from the flatirons to the coast.

I haven't gone sailing since Covid - largely because a shoulder problem cropped up right around the same time. I had rotator cuff surgery last year and it's doing a lot better. Dust off the boat and go sailing.

Maybe take up golf.

LOL Been there, down that. Been retired for 5 years now and next to HR problems, was tired of explaining things to senior management ... or explaining why things went wrong when they ignored my advice the last time.

Heads-up that I'm flying to Michigan in the morning to (f'n finally) get my Wrangler at AEV. Then it's a 12 hour drive to a lake in the Ozarks where I'll meet up with my wife and friends for a week+ on a houseboat.

I'm working on trying to automate the recovery for when jeep.com periodically blocks me. Hopefully I'll have that working before the end of the day. If not then there's a chance that there will be erroneous dips and subsequent spikes in the data.

In any case my responses to queries will be "slightly" delayed.

Sorry guys / gals, I had planned on answering these queries today, but I was swamped at work. Then my wife suggested that we go camping, so guess what we're doing?

This is in the mountains behind our place. I still have to go to work in the morning, but having a Jeep again is so damn liberating! Lost minute camping FTW.
