My 392 is also on 37s with beadlocks, but I don't think mine is running that hot. I usually have off-road pages up, I'll try and get a better number and report back but that does sound on the high side off the top of my head. What are you guys seeing for normal oil temps? Cruising at 80 with 37's and heavier aftermarket axles I'm seeing 230-245. Seems a bit warmer than my 3.6 JL.
Does anyone know if the oil cooler uses air or engine coolant?
Thanks for the specifics. It's nice to have a comparable. It stables around 230. If I’m driving aggressively or long up hill it will get to 245. If I floor it going 6% uphill the it goes over 250 but It cools right down to 230 afterwards.
Here’s another example on stock 33s while driving normal. I’ve consistently see 230 sitting in traffic and 240 when driving her aggressively. Thanks for the specifics. It's nice to have a comparable.
I see temps in the high 240's if I'm running over 2400rpm for very long. Even with a light engine load.

Your good.. Synthetic oil is good to approx. 300 degrees.Bringing this thread back to life. I'm averaging around 240 oil temp when i'm having some fun, not super aggressive driving but harder than normal. Seems high but also seems that's pretty average. Anyone else want to weigh in?
