I got the one for my same year. Thatās the safe bet. Yes, the Tazer allows it to show just 2H, 4H, N, 4L like it should.
Although, the Atlas canāt allow it to show N, otherwise you couldnāt do front digs. So it shows 4L in neutral. But thatās an Atlas thing, not a Jeep, DTCM, or tazer issue.
The non-392 transfer case control module (DTCM) is what tells it to look for clutches. Heās eliminated that. And then the Tazer tells the computer you have that DTCM. Done deal. So many things can cause that serv. 4wd light. He should scan his codes and see what it showing up.
Small update. Tazer has added the ability to program for the new transfer case - without needed AlphaOBD anymore. With firmware version 11.4.4, from the Performance menu, 4 Low, while holding the left arrow, pull back the high beam stalk and then push the cruise cancel button to say full time...
I need to do more in the Eastern part of my state too. Very scenic, but nothing hard. Not much hard anywhere in Oregon, š
Agreed on the factory 44. I busted my locker also, then the pinion chewed on the broken parts š«¤
My trimming was done in preparation for my Fusion 60/14 to go in. And my change from 37ās to 40ās. It gets wheeled, unless Pritchett and Rubicon arenāt considered hard enough.
Looks great. Iām surprised you just didnāt move the lower shock mount out versus notching the frame?
And whatās going on with the drag link here, looks like itās about to fall out?
I had a Redneck Ram before. With the new axles, I went with a PSC box and ram. But I still have the stock pump with the Apex boost kit and cooler. Using PSCs fancy new electric fluid. To me a mechanical pump is a step backwards and Iām not convinced the electric pumps are bad.
My memory was failing me on the model of transfer case control module, but going back in my thread, I ordered it from a regular Rubicon from my same year. Likely because then it will look for lockers, sway bar, etcā¦ The Tazer or AlphaOBD allow you to adjust the ratio to 3.03:1 as needed.

It was disengaging on me at speeds under 30mph, but under heavy throttle/wheel speed. Iāve never paid attention to my speedometer in the dunes when the wheels are spinning. But the jeep should be smart enough to sense wheel speed and NOT disengage 4wd. Iām not willing to fiddle with it and wait...
